Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection."

Muslims have a plan to make America a Muslim nation.
Marxists have a plan to make America a Marxist nation.
Secular Progressives have a plan to make America a Secular Progressive nation.
… but Christians seem to always have a plan to keep Christianity from further influencing our nation by discipling people into either:
1) Political apathy (“God is sovereign, back off”, “we don’t get political, just do evangelism”)
2) Political ambiguity (“Jesus isn’t a Republican or Democrat, neither Right nor Left” = primary application of gospel to culture)
If continued, this will have very predictable (and disastrous) results in coming years, and a few conversations with pastors in deep blue cities / states trying to build churches, pastor people, and raise Christian families will help you realize it.

Just voted Republican down the ballot today in deep blue Illinois.
As a mom, everything I do—and everything I advocate for—comes back to my kids.
I want them to grow up in a country that prioritizes their safety, their education, and their future over politics. That means leaders who defend parental rights, support real opportunity instead of endless inflation, and put law and order ahead of chaos in our communities.
Down-ballot races shape the schools our kids attend, the neighborhoods we live in, and the economic reality our families face every day. Those are the races that matter most to me.
I care about Illinois even if some of us are planning to leave. This is still home for now, and the people who stay deserve better schools, safer streets, and a state that doesn’t keep driving families away. Voting down the ballot is how we fight for that.

Gov. Pritzker signed a bill allowing work-authorized non-citizens, including green card holders and DACA recipients, to apply to become police officers
Illinois allows legal non-citizens to become police officers under Public Act 103-0357. The law permits legal permanent residents and DACA recipients with federal work and firearm authorization to apply to local law enforcement agencies.
This radical overreach by the Illinois Left is a direct assault on American sovereignty and a slap in the face to law-abiding citizens. By handing badge, gun, and arresting authority over Americans to non-citizens, Democrats are dismantling the rule of law to patch over the very policing crisis their own soft-on-crime policies created.

While Illinois families are getting hammered by nearly 70 tax and fee hikes, higher utility bills, businesses packing up and leaving, failing schools, and public-safety problems that never get fixed, Stratton’s big idea is still just “F--- Trump.” That’s not leadership. She's run a hate-based campaign funded by special interests so she can skate into the Senate without answering for the pain she's caused.
My final ad calls it what it is. Illinois deserves a Senator who works for all 102 counties and actually tries to fix things, not one who teaches people to demonize opponents instead of solving problems.

That's a $175B difference in tax records.
