For those not following along. The @Brewers are either direct listing or working with a broker/consolidator to control supply on the “secondary market”.
The BOTS ACT is in place to circumvent ticket limits which gives an unfair advantage to certain buyers over general consumers
So if @FTC says going over the limit IS the BOTS ACT violation, then why are consolidators able to sign contracts with teams so they have basically an unlimited ticket limit? Why does a fan get capped at 4 tickets, but a consolidator can get thousands and this is ok?

Already over 1 million views. StubHub continues to treat buyers and even top sellers wrong on a daily basis.
Top management executives out of their New York office came to social hour meet ups & told sellers "oh well things happen with broken orders" but just sell more & more
The sickening stories keeping coming in…😢😢😢
SHAME ON YOU, @StubHub.
Imagine being a kid, a HUGE @Brewers fan, and finding out you’re going to see your team play in the WORLD SERIES! ⚾️💙💛
The excitement. The anticipation. The memories you’re already imagining making.
Now imagine having that excitement ripped away because a company sold your 3 tickets that you bought, that they apparently can’t deliver.
That’s exactly what we’re dealing with right now.
We purchased THREE tickets to the Milwaukee Brewers World Series for Game 1 last Tuesday(13th) through StubHub. We selected our section, our row, paid for our tickets, and received our order confirmation.
Everything was supposed to be set.
Then suddenly, StubHub tells us they’re “searching for replacement options” because they can’t provide the tickets we purchased.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
How does a company accept someone’s hard earned money, confirm a purchase, and then turn around and say they can’t fulfill it?!
And their solution? We can request a refund while they continue looking for tickets.
THIS ISN’T ABOUT THE MONEY.
It’s about the experience. It’s about the memories. It’s about the excitement of a kid, his dad, and grandpa, who thought they were going to watch their favorite baseball team play on the biggest stage in baseball.
Look at the first picture. That’s the disappointment you’re creating, StubHub.
A refund doesn’t replace that moment.
And here’s what really bothers me…
StubHub advertises a “FanProtect Guarantee” and tells customers their orders are “100% guaranteed.”
Guaranteed WHAT, exactly?!
Because from where we’re sitting, that guarantee doesn’t feel worth much when you can’t deliver the tickets you sold us.
We did everything right. We purchased through a major ticket marketplace. We trusted the confirmation. We trusted the guarantee.
Now it’s time for StubHub to make it right.
We aren’t asking for anything extra. We want the three tickets we paid for, or comparable or better seats together, at no additional cost.
Stubhub…DO BETTER.
Please SHARE this. Not just for us, but for every fan who has trusted a ticket company with an experience that means so much more than the price of admission.

Every executive at @stubhub should be in prison for their shady business deals
Scamhub was fine when they were the official MLB marketplace and BEFORE they went public. Since going public, they don’t care anymore. Especially once news leaked that their CEO is a “mass scalper” using a separate company hiding behind the Stubhub marketplace.
Yep. Between the below listing of 8 tickets plus the amount of 2+ tickets going from 152 listings to 183 listings overnight….
Definitely not manipulating the supply to make you pay more all week leading up to the game.
Replying to @ProblemsMlb
@ProblemsMlb crazy that between 12a-3a some “scalpers” decided to list tix for Game 2 including this set of 8 that they must have just been sitting on for the last week, deciding that I guess today was the day to put them up for sale…

A couple of tidbits from after the game started. Tickets clearly being controlled not by fans / typical resellers. Just tossing this out there since some people still think this is scalpers and not an inside job. Game in 3rd inn when screenshots were taken. Priced not to sell.
And….they found more.
Likely visiting team returns. But why not use the box office site?
Oh. That’s right. You can sell them for more on @SeatGeek
Now it gets even more interesting. Box office is showing “event not on sale.”But the tickets that typically come out of the box office on gameday between the dugouts just popped up on SeatGeek in sets of 4. At prices higher than box office was, but lower than where resale was.
Follow the money. Watch the # of listings.
Up down up down up down
Supply manipulation tactics kept this price high.
Deceptive Trade.
Artificial Scarcity.
Collusion.
Call it what you want.
Fans deserve transparency.

Team will say they use consolidators to “leverage the secondary market”. What they mean is they allow one entity to mass scalp their biggest games using deception and manipulation tactics. They don’t use these to help you save money. They use these tactics to extract $ from you
When one entity is allowed to sell thousands of tickets on the “secondary” market, it allows markets to be easily manipulated for big events with demand. The bots act is in place so one cannot “mass scalp” and control the market. Teams partner with one entity with no limits. @FTC
