I worked as an edit assistant on this a little while back, and it’s my first professional credit!

The John Lewis Christmas advert used to be memorable. This isn’t.
The 2026 John Lewis Christmas advert has launched, featuring a classic Rolling Stones cover by Sam Fender. What are your thoughts on this years ad? 🎄🐶

That’s kind of the idea with game shows. You don’t get to dictate where the money goes. That’s up to the winners. What’s next? We screen everyone that goes on The Chase or Pointless etc. in case they’re supporters of certain causes. Grow the fuck up.
The end of #CelebrityTraitors was the most BBC thing EVER. Because of COURSE the two winners are donating their winnings - our licence fee money - to a charity for refugees and a charity for "queer" refugees.

You can’t moan about people not wearing a poppy out of ‘respect’ and then disrespect the kind of poppy or who is wearing a poppy when people do choose to. The poppy is now just a performance for right wingers who love to pretend they’re ‘patriots’ while behaving like scum.

I honestly don’t think it’s any worse than what Kieran did in Series 1 of the civilian show with ‘parting gift’. Kieran basically outed another Traitor, James only outed himself. If he’d randomly said it, fair enough but they were putting heat on him anyway.
Replying to @StarshineEden
What James did was a dick move and changed the entire trajectory of the game. I sympathize to a point but he should’ve kept his ass at home if this is how he was gonna act. He knew what the game was… let’s not act like he’s brand new #CelebrityTraitors

Fancy another one? What if Vincent and the Doctor was a Series 11 episode and used "Chances" over the credits.
What if Love & Monsters was a Series 11 episode? Specifically like Rosa or Kerblam! where the credits music was changed.

Like I’m sorry I can’t think of anything worse than a laptop screen with a bazillion finger print marks on
I love tech. I really do. But there’s two things you can’t ever convince me are worthwhile ideas. Apple has done both in the last 2 months. - Foldable phone (stupid concept) - Touch screen laptop (just buy a tablet) I just don’t get it.

The poppy is now just as loaded a weapon as a flag is and has been for a while. Always the same kind of people using both to spread whatever hate they’ve rolled the dice on this week.
It's fair to say that people being turned away for wearing poppies didn't sit well with the locals in Gosport (this was a gathering in response to the rejection) Disgraceful! Just remember the security and manager said if they removed their poppies they were allowed in. So this is nothing to who the people were and what they were supporting. This was purely down to them wearing a poppy and that’s wrong

The Impossible Planet viewing figures: 6.32m Every single Matt Smith episode got higher than that. It took until Capaldi’s second series to reach an episode that got lower than 6.32. So I don’t see why Smith and Capaldi episodes wouldn’t be popular enough for a screening.
What Matt and Peter episodes would get such interest as to warrant any screening, let alone additional dates, in a cinema. I was there at exactly Dr Who watching age when all of their episodes aired and watched every regular person around me almost overnight stop watching in 2010

You must’ve missed June-August where it was 30 bastard degrees every other day, because that’s the answer to your question.
I hope all you winter lovers are soaked to the skin , freezing bloody cold and your roof’s leaking, bastards!! You honestly prefer this shit to summer how ? 😅

I was someone who enjoyed the first half of S2, but looking back it almost feels like we were all delusional because those first 5 episodes are really not good at all 😭 that being said TSATE was the first on broadcast that I really didn’t gel with, and I still don’t *get it*?
One of the weirder parts of RTD2 was the week after The Story & The Engine came out and for some reason all of Doctor Who Twitter was acting like they'd just watched the second coming of Heaven Sent. That episode was mid as hell I'm sorry.

It’s pretty much been the first time we’ve had any rain since like June
Does it ever stop raining in Britain? Seriously, I’ve been here a week and it hasn’t stopped.

Generally I think this new 4th Doctor figure is excellent, though I’m still unsure about the scarf. It’s a bit oversized width-wise and looks a little off, but the figure itself is easily the best 4th Doctor we’ve ever had. This is my best attempt at the scarf. 1/3

This figure compared to the previous Shada 4th Doctor is a night and day difference. It’s a real case of not realising how bad something was until you see the new version. The vortex figure makes the B&M one look like a knock off 😅 2/3

It’s great to finally have the jelly babies, and the new sonic screwdriver is also a massive improvement on the old one. The only thing I’m not too keen on is the hatted head. I know people prefer the less crazy grin but he just looks uncomfortable imo 😬 3/3

Banger, and crazy now to think since this aired we could’ve had 13’s era all over again. I’ll weirdly always be quite nostalgic for 2021-23 Doctor Who
Four years ago today, The Power of The Doctor first aired on BBC One and iPlayer as part of the BBC Centenary.. and we sadly said goodbye to The Thirteenth Doctor with the blossomiest blossom 💔 #DoctorWho 💙💙

How can it be a day off for teachers if you’ve self described it as ‘teacher training’
Why would schools have teachers training on a Friday before week half term? Just another day for teachers to have off. It's a joke. #uk #education @educationgovuk Parents got to then change schedule to keep them home.
