Many citizens hesitate to voice their opinions or participate in democratic movements due to the fear of legal action arising from their social media posts or public statements. Access to legal assistance can help ensure that such fears do not prevent citizens from exercising their constitutional rights. Through this initiative, AIPC aims to connect citizens facing genuine legal difficulties with advocates willing to represent them without charging professional fees. The proposed network will complement the work of the Congress Legal Cell, providing an additional avenue of support through experienced advocates and senior legal professionals. The objective is to strengthen access to justice and ensure that citizens facing genuine legal challenges are not left without support. Major Recognition for AIPC’s Together For Tech Lives (TFTL) Campaign at the World AI Summit! It is with immense pleasure we share this news that the All India Professionals' Congress (AIPC) has been recognized by the industry at the World AI Summit at Bengaluru for our work on the Together For Tech Lives (TFTL) campaign, led by the AIPC IT / ITES Domain. We are honored to receive 2 prestigious awards: 1. Outstanding Contribution to Workforce Dignity and Justice 2. AI Policy Visionary Award About the Journey: The TFTL campaign, which started in 2025, focused on addressing the critical issue of layoffs in the IT sector. Through Listening Circles, webinars, and online surveys, we aimed to understand and highlight the real-world impacts of job losses on IT professionals and their families. Currently the team is working with Industry Bodies and Policy Makers to address topics such as the taxation of severance pay, labor rights awareness training, a bridge insurance program, and a charter for dignity in exit in collaboration with Industry Bodies, Trade Unions, Employees, Employers, Policy Makers and Other Key Stakeholders.
