I don't know who needs to hear this, but the hardcover edition of @BJJPayne's "Gin, Jesus, and Jim Crow" is currently on a ridiculous sale for *under $11* on Amazon. I've read great things about this book, and can't wait to get into it!

I’m not surprised by the expulsion of the TN 3, but it’s infuriating & demoralizing nonetheless. The hypocrisy and anti-democratic impulses of the TNGOP seem to know no bounds.
