AI just turned an idea into a cinematic masterpiece.
No film crew.
No actors.
No expensive production.
Just a prompt and @frameo_ai

there is so much going on in the <30B model post-training space (especially with the growing focus on consumer applications).
a lab recently did some interesting work adding MLA (from DeepSeek) to Qwen3.8 27B to hillclimb on benchmarks. given that they are also working on brain-AI interfaces, it makes a lot of sense to finetune models of this class to make them faster + less verbose.
i also think open-source environments are a pretty good starting point these days for getting into model post-training at scale, especially when the goal is to focus on specific capabilities that align with broader RnD efforts.

Once AI is ready for finance, the world is gonna be a different place.
Strict compliance is the main reason AI hasn't fully exploded in accounting yet.
But @john__glasgow and the team at @Meet_campfire are changing that with a deterministic model built specifically for finance.

Tons of AI tools help companies scale operations, CRM etc.
But payments are the real constraint. That's where everything breaks.
I just listened to @jbjerresanders from @uselightinc explain that. Super interesting.

Introducing Hugo: the first human companion robot.
At Boston Dynamics, I was Chief Strategy Officer, bringing robots into the real world.
My co-founder, Farbod Farshidian, led research at the RAI Institute.
Together, 15+ years teaching robots to run, jump, and work.
So we asked: what if robots could connect with people?
Hugo runs on the first Vision-Language-Expression (VLE) model.
He links what he sees and hears to movement, expression, and gesture.
He notices you, reads the room, and reacts in real time.
And he's only the first.
Dynamic Creatures is @BostonDynamics' official entertainment and hospitality partner.
We're building a cast of characters with film studios, resorts, and theme parks.

#ad See. Switch. Speak.
Managing multiple AI agents could get a lot more seamless when checking status, switching sessions, and giving your next instruction all happen through one physical controller.
SlashVibe is an interesting take on the future of AI workflows.

Here's our latest prototype in action. See → Switch → Speak
See your agents' status at a glance. Check what's running, waiting, or done without opening each window.
Switch sessions with a flick. Use the joystick to select a session and bring its window to the front.
Speak your next instruction. Press the button, and the mic is ready to record in under 100ms.
#ad Managing multiple AI agents shouldn’t mean constantly switching between windows.
SlashVibe brings agent status, voice input, and physical controls together to help keep parallel tasks moving.
A pretty interesting take on making AI workflows more hands-on.

Introducing Expand Fetch, a new way to scrape and crawl the web.
Your agent has never seen the web. No wonder it gets basic questions wrong.
Traditional Markdown APIs lose critical details. So we trained two System one models to change that:
Iris, a vision model that sees pages like you do, preserving tables, icons, and layouts.
X-Ray, a JSON model that uncovers the hidden data behind every page.
Every fetch also comes with a Wayback Machine. Every line links back to its source, so you can verify exactly what your agent saw.
Three products. One API.
On our benchmark of 1,094 questions across 326 challenging web pages, agents using Expand got 74% right. The next best API got 55%.
Available today at $1 per 1,000 fetches.
