Discord is about to put your public messages on Google
Discord will start making messages from Discoverable public servers searchable on Google and other search engines from mid-December.
The feature is ON by default in most regions, but you can opt out:
User Settings → Data & Privacy → turn off “Show my message content from Discoverable channels on web pages.”
In the EU, UK, Canada, Brazil, Australia and South Korea, it will be OFF by default.
Private servers, DMs and group DMs are not included. Usernames and avatars won’t appear alongside indexed messages.

Back in 2018, Philipp Dettmer, the founder of kurzgesagt, was being treated for a stage 3 B testicular cancer. This was a very serious situation, but it is not a sad story! In fact, going through chemotherapy was one of the most interesting experiences of his life. He was treated with Cisplatin, which, in a nutshell, put his body through a controlled medical violence. This toxic chemotherapy agent is a hero and a villain of this story, but it absolutely saved his life.
So what exactly is Cisplatin, and what was his body going through during the treatment? Watch our full video to find out: kgs.link/Cisplatin

Watching the stars on a clear evening is pretty nice, its really good for kinda grounding you back into reality, especially with the current state of the world, because no matter what happens here, they’ll still be out there somewhere, just like they have been.
