One thing that always pulled me is how Krishna looked like strictly as per Mahabharat without any later additions from Bhakti standpoint… which are more like cute, laddu gopal etc etc…
Most importantly we are too much conditioned into Peacock feather and Flute… without which it’s tough to recognise Krishna. Mahabharat has none of these…
Mahabharat mentions that he is a Mahabhaahu (Strong built) and had mostly yellow clothes, had a cloth based headgear (which is historically accurate. Those golden crowns are exceptional / mostly from TV serials)
Coming to the Chakra, it’s a real weapon that works on centrifugal force when spun and released from a finger…
There is a lot more… May be in future I will make a video on how Krishna actually looked…

The upcoming Nagaland movie Angh shows how demographic change took place through the influence of Christian missionaries.
The story is set in the 1960s and follows Anghva, a Konyak tribal chief, whose son comes under the influence of Christian missionaries and becomes attracted to Christianity and the new faith, leaving behind his tribal culture. This leads to conflicts within Anghva’s family.
The film also explores how Nagaland’s Christian population grew from around 2% to 87%.

Hindu monk Chinmoy Das has been jailed in Bangladesh on fabricated sedition charges since leading an Oct 2024 rally for Hindu safety against genocide following Sheikh Hasina coup.
Recently, his mother requested on her deathbed that the Bangladesh grant her son bail so she could see him one last time, but the plea was denied. She passed away with her final wish unfulfilled. Chinmoy Das was granted a brief five-hour parole to perform her last rites, he is now back behind bars.
