Gen Salim Saleh "I recently reconnected with Dr. Kizza Besigye after learning about his illness & visited him.
Now that the CDF @mkainerugaba, has asked me to handle his matter, I welcome the opportunity. In the next three to six months, we shall have a successful outcome."
Thanks for the wise guidance, where an old man can see while seated, a young man cannot see while standing ~ an old adage.
Dear Mum , Hon Minister @Hon_Anifa , mine is not defending an ethical behavior but just to explain something others are not telling you - “THE POCKETING DR,”leave alone saying I know Dr Candia Robert who was one year behind me. I was his President at Medical School. A disciplined and always smiling Dr. The clinical coat has very many uses to a clinician. I won’t enumerate them but one of them , is what I have witnessed over the years: when a Dr is exhausted, instead of leaning against a wall or sitting down , many times he /she chooses to rest his / her hands in the lower coat pockets to find balance and rest on his / her feet, can you imagine. But also , to keep his hands from hanging everywhere and falling in contact with the surfaces on the ward , to keep them fairly clean before touching to examine another client, disinfect and keep again. It develops into a habit among health workers who work for long hrs or teaching, common among senior health workers.
Please , please, let me plead for Dr Chadia, he is that nice son of yours - try and find out. Again , sometimes health workers use those white pockets to hide their glove - powdered hands - not dirty as such.
I bet you , you will meet many , including very senior Drs pocketing.
I could be wrong, I am sorry, that’s just my humble but orthodox view.

VIDEO: The Parliamentary Committee on Physical Infrastructure has accused the Auditor General’s office of negligence and ordered the arrest of some officials after they failed to explain why the Intelligence Transport Monitoring System (ITMS) project was not audited.

The Auditor General, Edward Akol has told Parliament that his office could not conduct a comprehensive audit of the Intelligent Transport Monitoring System (ITMS) project due to inadequate documentation.
Appearing before the Committee on Physical Infrastructure as investigations into the digital number plate project continue, Akol revealed that his office was referred to the Office of the President, where officials informed him that the ITMS was still at pilot phase and therefore could not be audited.
Yesterday, the committee ordered the arrest of two officials from the Office of the Auditor General until Akol appears to explain why the audit on ITMS wasn’t done.

WATCH: “King Saha is my ‘son-in-law,’ but he lied in the Akamwanyi song. He said their coffee was stolen… ‘Wano akamwanyi kaliwo, wano akamwanyi kaliwo… wano abasajja bajjawo.’ He told a lot of lies in that song. I want to assure King Saha today that the coffee is back. I implore all of you to join the Uganda Coffee Group,” Gen. (Rtd) Salim Saleh said at the launch of the Uganda Coffee Group. #NTVNews

“In the Tooro Constitution, which I heard was suspended, and in my view illegally so, we had a clause stating that all articles of the Constitution were subordinate to the culture and norms of Tooro.” — Rev. Clovis Kyalimpa, former Speaker of the Tooro Assembly.
A voice UBC TV will always be proud of despite his exit to the bigger stage.
Congratulations Omukama Nyabongo I
