Gov. Newsom & the Legislature have finalized the state budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26. The new budget will cut access to Medi-Cal for immigrants w/ an enrollment freeze & new monthly premiums. We are disappointed in the decision to make our immigrant communities more vulnerable.

We can expand the Child Tax Credits (CTC) and Earned Income Tax Credits (EITC)! In 2021, the CTC and EITC helped cut the child poverty rate in half from 9.7% in 2020 to 5.2% 2021.
