This is very interesting and expected European governments and thus the EU too is losing lots of tax income from Europeans fleeing Next on the agenda is the European Exit Tax and after that I think they will try to add Worldwide Income Tax (like the US already has) meaning it doesn't matter where you live in the world as a European citizen, the EU will tax you for your entire income! It's the only way for the EU to stop the financial drain of so many high skilled Europeans physically leaving and setting up companies or finding better paying opportunities elsewhere due to the EU's anti-business regulation And their increasing expenses of paying social welfare for low quality and low IQ mass immigration they brought in which didn't have the payback they expected!
This is brutal — the EU is forcing banks outside the EU to stop providing core banking services to EU residents, unless those banks set up a licensed branch inside the EU. Note that what matters is your residence, not your passport — an EU citizen who is tax resident elsewhere is not affected. If you want to avoid trouble opening an account with any non-EU bank in the future, I recommend securing residency outside the EU (we'll gladly help with Paraguay, Uruguay or Panama). As an EU resident, you may already run into problems opening a bank account outside the EU from next year. EU Directive 2024/1619 ("CRD VI") introduces a new Article 21c. From 11 January 2027, it prohibits banks established outside the EU from providing core banking services — including deposit-taking — to clients established or situated in the European Union, unless the bank operates a licensed branch in the relevant member state.

Bitcoin fixes this
Europeans will no longer be able to open bank accounts outside of the EU 🇪🇺 I never recommend hiding your money... but I know a lot of people do it anyway This is the end of that If you want to have control over your own money, you need a permanent residency elsewhere

He's completely right! Germany does NOT take 50% of everything you make They take 49.3%! Source: @OECD
Germany does NOT take 50% tax of everything you make. Germany has a progressive income tax system. Meaning: - You don't pay the highest rate on your full income. - You only pay it on the part above the threshold. - The max income tax rate is 45%. - Everything below that is taxed in lower brackets. So no, if someone in Germany makes $117k, the government doesn't just take half. For companies, it's different. Corporate tax, trade tax, distributions, etc. Germany has many problems for founders. But let's at least hate on the correct ones.

Save Europe. Abolish the EU.
Avoid building startups here - Cultural aversion to ambition - Insane regulation - Talent shortage - Out of control taxes The next generation will build their companies elsewhere!

Today, I used Claude for the first time ever. In just 3 hours, I developed an entire mobile application! This would have taken me days if it weren’t for Claude. Insane.

Ah, but remember, they live in a “full democracy” and we live in a “dictatorship”.
I’m sure the people who make the freedom and democracy indexes will be updating them immediately.
