I have said many times before why India should create a cryptocurrency reserve. But let me say it again when crypto is actually going down:
I used to say at least $10 billion. But now I will say $70 billion reserve may be a good idea. What's the worse that can happen? Everything goes to zero and $70 billion wiped out?
India's FX reserves go up and down by $70b over a week or so many times. It means nothing for a country sitting on $700 billion of reserves.
But what happens if currencies suddenly depreciate due to banking issues and crypto goes 10x? The $70b will become $700 billion that can be used right when FX reserves will plunge.

When TEAM BHARAT exposes Shri Nitin Gadkari ji sir’s absolute conflict of interest on the ethanol policy we put data ; so here are the cold, undeniable numbers:
🌾 Government procured rice at ₹3,889.46 per quintal.
🏭 Then quietly handed over 6.35 million tonnes to private ethanol distilleries at ₹2,250–₹2,320 per quintal : a deliberate 40% damn discount.
📉 Total taxpayer loss: ₹10,101.29 CRORE.
(Procurement cost: ₹24,698.07 Cr vs sale revenue: ₹14,596.78 Cr)
Now ask yourself the questions that refuse to die:
* If there was truly excess rice, why was it not exported to build India’s foreign exchange reserves?
* Why was it not released into the open market so food prices could fall and food inflation could ease for the common citizen?
* Why are “We The People” forced to subsidise private ethanol distilleries : only to then pay higher fuel prices at the pump every single day?
The conflict is crystal clear: Shri Nitin Gadkari ji sir’s ministry has a decisive say in India’s ethanol policy.
This is an absolutely shameless systematic transfer of public money into private hands while the ordinary Indian pays twice once through taxes to procure rice and again at the fuel station for the Ethanol blended Petrol!!
TEAM BHARAT will not let this go unanswered!! Watch out our next step!! (We now have evidence)

Honest feedback for the GoI to consider, offered as a well-wisher:
1. E20 is a massive issue. Just because people aren't protesting in the streets doesn't mean it isn't. There is a simmering anger everywhere.
2. The root cause of this mess is singular: someone decided it was acceptable to ignore the National Policy on Biofuels 2018's plan to introduce E20 in 2030, which would have allowed older, non-compliant vehicles to phase out naturally. Instead, E20 was rolled out despite the fact that most vehicles on the road are not calibrated to run on it.
3. There is no "lobby" behind this public frustration. If the govt believes there is, they should expose the nexus and let citizens decide for themselves. Otherwise, ministers and spokespersons are only making things worse by using "lobbies" and "deep states" as defensive arguments.
4. Vehicle performance is suffering. Drivers are experiencing a drop in mileage and damage to parts. After months of denial, even Nitin Gadkari and Hardeep Puri have acknowledged "some issues" with Ethanol.
5. If the goal is true energy security, the focus and push must shift toward EVs, alongside exploring nuclear energy as a primary power source. The govt should encourage and incentivize EV adoption through subsidies and a robust infrastructure network. Ethanol, in the way it is currently being implemented, is doing more harm than good.
6. The solution is to provide a choice between E0 and E20. If the current fuel infrastructure cannot support both, E20 should be rolled back to E10 until 2030. This will allow older cars and bikes to be phased out naturally before moving forward. And also, do not introduce E27 or whatever is next till the new fleet is E27 compliant and all E20 cars are phased out, unless there is an infrastructure in place to dispense both in future.

Now they want to scrap 97 lakh vehicles to collect ₹40,000 crore more.
For them it’s revenue, but for middle class it’s lifetime savings.
Middle class buys car once in 10–15 years, not every election cycle, they dont own Cian energy.
Stop treating middle class as your ATM machine.

Dear Nitin Gadkari ji,
When we ask you to provide Pure Unleaded Petrol as an option in the Bunks across Bharat apart from E20, it is only because 95% of vehicles are not built for E20. You know that. We know that. For the same price, we need Pure Option.
Let me clarify on behalf of all.
- We don't get paid for posting this, infact we post this so that you can rethink and take action.
- We are not part of any petroleum lobby, just plain tax paying citizens of Bharat.
- You have still not instructed Vehicle Insurance companies to put a clause saying that they will accept all claims when E20 is being filled in all vehicles. Pls do so at the earliest.
- The Non E20 (maybe E10 or E0) price should be same so that customers can fill what suits their vehicles.
- Please ask Ministry of Petroleum to be more accomodating & respectful of Citizens needs.
- Please take responsibility for this sir. It affects more than 95% of Bharat Vehicles.
We have a lot of respect for you @nitin_gadkari ji. You are one of the most sensible in the team,
Please do not call us a lobby and reduce your status sir. Tagging our PM @narendramodi ji as well.
As always, I am sure you will introspect and take necessary action.
On behalf of all Indians who still own Non E20 Vehicles,

It definitely looks like US is going to keep inflicting more and more pain on India and Indians. We need to be prepared for any extreme scenarios including detoriation of IT and related sectors, many NRIs in US who are not citizens being sent back home, detoriation of fast growing electronics sector, non availability of critical technologies and even some harm to Indian community living in US.
There is no point in doing post portem. The reality is that India is the most highly tariffed and intensely hated country by current US administration.
America's thinking is to do all advance manufacturing and high end technology back home and penalise the countries who refuse to toe America's line by denying them access to these.
There is no way India should compromise it's self respect. It is not the question of Modi versus Trump. It is now India versus USA.
Our ancient civilisation has gone through immense pain and suffering. Compared to them, we would be able to overcome this.
There would be a huge pain for India in the short to medium term. Like the government initiated GST reforms recently, there is lot and lots of intense reforms which needs to be done.
Our country has serious internal issues based on religion, caste, language, culture and regional. We cannot wish them away. They are not going to disappear anytime soon.
But our primary focus for next 10 years should be economic development and social welfare of all Indians. It needs tremendous effort from centre and all state governments. It is high time we think about significantly reducing corruption. I'm not even sure whether we would ever able to eliminate corruption completely from India.
This is a wake-up call for all of us. If we don't get our act together even now, majority of Indians can never come out of everyday miserable living they lead.

No developed country is forcing ethanol, as they know it is not the fuel of the future. Instead, they are investing in developing EV infrastructure.
Poor countries with corrupt governments, like Brazil and India, have forced ethanol on their people. Brazil has vast water resources due to its rainforest coverage, while India is a water-deficient country.
Ethanol production will cause havoc in a country like India.

This is the energy density of various fuels including E10, E20 and E27. The unit is Mega Joules per kilogram, which means how much energy/heat one kilogram of fuel produces when burnt.
E20 has about 8% less energy than petrol, and E27 about 10% less. That means mileage drops accordingly.
There’s another problem. Petrol is hydrophobic: it repels water and does not mix with it. If a few drops of water enter a petrol tank, they sink to the bottom and can be drained.
Ethanol is the opposite: it is hygroscopic and actively absorbs water from air or storage tanks. Ethanol and water mix uniformly and cannot be separated without distillation. You would have seen/experienced this with alcoholic drinks mixed with water.
This makes fuel handling more difficult. When underground tanks at fuel stations let in water, pure petrol shows water at the bottom that can be cleaned. With ethanol blends, the water dissolves into the fuel and goes straight into your car or bike.
Water in E20 lowers the fuel’s energy density, causing reduced mileage and harder cold starts. If water exceeds solubility, phase separation occurs, leading to poor combustion, knocking, and stalling. Over time, water–ethanol mixtures promote corrosion in fuel tanks, injectors, and pipelines, shortening engine life.
More than 95% vehicles on Indian roads today were designed for pure Petrol. Running them long-term on E20 can shorten engine life if materials and tuning are not upgraded. And since mileage falls by 8–10%, the effective cost per kilometre rises by the same amount, even if the pump price per litre looks the same.
Since the mileage of vehicles drops by 8–10%, it effectively increases the petrol price by the same margin. In reality, you’re paying ₹120 per litre to drive the same distance as before. On top of that, engine life shortens and resale value goes down if the vehicle is driven more.
Remember, @nitin_gadkari in 2017 promised ethanol-based petrol at ₹15 per litre. Now he’s made it effectively ₹120 per litre, and it will only rise as more ethanol is mixed. If you don’t want ethanol-contaminated petrol, your only option is high-octane fuel like XP100, which costs ₹160 per litre, just to protect your vehicle. So effectively pure Petrol price is ₹160 per litre. If you have voted for BJP, you are being looted for the mistake of electing a stupid corrupt Govt. For the rest of us, we are bearing the punishment of the mistakes that others committed.
This is nothing but institutional and industrial-scale corruption. Gadkari is the third most corrupt after Modi and Shah. Most NHAI construction contracts are inflated, benefiting contractors and BJP, while the roads remain pathetic. He’s not just minting money. He’s making life harder for everyone.

One reason China is ahead of India is that Indian opportunists like Narayan Murthy filled their pockets by renting out brains of young techies to foreign countries & make quick billions. Chinese developed their own patents & intellect property. That was long range thinking. Indians were short sighted. Emotional fools have idol worshiped the selfish middleman. Govt given them too much clout. My book AIandPower.com explains.
