Just to note how stupid this system is...we just learned that 15 days ago, the Dept of Education awarded a brief contract to consulting firm Accenture to oversee sending emails to student debtors. It's a $350M contract. So it costs more to *service* the debt than to cancel it.

Again we see most people dont seem to understand how Creative Commons works. It doesn’t replace copyright. It merely grants permission on top of Copyright. Do people really think SCP creations are not Copyrighted? YES. And they are wrong! @a24 can copyright & CC the film.

The Backrooms is a great film, but it was A24 taking a general idea formed from collective writing on the internet and turning it into a copyrightable product that solely they can profit off of. The SCP Foundation is a whole different ballpark to that and idk if they know this.
