We officially launched our Psych-AID Network last Friday. Thank you to all of our speakers @Maahanmuuttovir, @FGaroff, @sara_landstrom, @jan_antfolk, @jkorkman, @JennySkrifvars, @hedayat_selim , Rasmus Ahlgren, @oak27oak, and Malin Ekelund.
Psych-AID was represented at the conference of the European chapter of the International Association of Migration and Refugee Judges, held in Paris in early October. Judges, law practitioners, and researchers gathered to discuss new developments in asylum law and practice.
A special highlight was the setting: the remarkable General Assembly hall of the Conseil d'État. Many thanks to the organisers and to everyone we had the chance to discuss these important topics with. #AsylumLaw #RefugeeLaw #IARMJ #LegalPsychology #PsychAID

🔍Beliefs about asylum decisions don’t arise in a vacuum. In our study, broader immigration attitudes shape how people interpret the same asylum system: more lenient attitudes ➡️ too strict; more restrictive ➡️ too lenient.
