Nothing needs to be modeled. It’s really quite easy, it’s been modeled already for the past few years.
Housing value went up. Inflation went up. Property taxes went up.
Counties devoured the excess revenue, collecting sometimes twice or even THREE TIMES as much as they have only a few years ago.
They could’ve checked their spending and given taxpayers a break. They didn’t really NEED all the revenue. Circumstances gave them a huge windfall.
What’d they do instead? They spent it and are asking for more.
Now you’re trying to make the taxpayer feel bad or fearful for clawing back what’s rightfully theirs.
Give taxpayers a break. Counties need to cut spending. Stop acting like they can’t.
It’s a big club and we ain’t in it. I fully support the Amish community.
Now the truth finally comes out that the state of New York wants the Amish people‘s properties and land so they can build their data centers. How disgusting 🤮
 The Amish of Central New York told the seditious Governor Kathy Hochul they would pack up, abandon their farms and leave if the Governor tried forcing vaccines on their children. The Governor fined them over $100,000 and demanded they comply anyway.
When the Amish decided to fight back, taking the wicked Governor to court, Hochul's minion Senator Fahy drew up even more legislation to pressure them to leave, attacking their children again, this time through an anti-homeschooling bill.
Tens of thousands of acres of cleared Amish farmland are at stake. The Amish have spent decades clearing their land by hand and horse. The hard work has been done.
But if the Governor has her way, the Amish will be forced to sell that cleared land to the solar farms and data centers knocking on the doors for it.
Who will help the Amish stand up to this maniacal Governor? We need to expose this on social media and we need to get the right people involved to represent the Amish and help them fight This evil demonic power and control of New York. 
For all the parents out there with school age children. Republicans are in charge and this shit is still apparently mandatory for federal funding. Hey @usedgov is this still mandatory and if so, why?? Seems you’d remove that requirement.

🚨 Breaking: DHS lifted the funding freeze on Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley, and Sister Norma Pimentel announced it on September 25, 2026 at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin.
The ban had been imposed last November after an audit found grant violations, including inconsistent migrant data and billing beyond the 45 day federal limit. DHS had sought a six-year debarment, but after the charity met with officials in Washington and signed an administrative agreement, the freeze was lifted and they’re eligible for federal grants again. Catholic charities played a huge role in the child smuggling pipeline. I covered their operations for months on end…
