The Book of Mormon is a great witness that the Lord loves all people and reaches out to all, everywhere.
The Book of Mormon adds to our knowledge of how our Savior’s earthly ministry reached out to all of His scattered flock.
Book of Mormon teachings contradict the erroneous assertion that the grace of God saves only a chosen few.
The Book of Mormon teaches that our Savior "inviteth ... all to come unto him" (2 Nephi 26:33). His grace is for all.
Similarly, the Book of Mormon tells us that the children of God in “every nation” have His promise that He “manifesteth himself unto all those who believe in him, by the power of the Holy Ghost” (2 Nephi 26:13).
These promises from the Book of Mormon are true.
I call upon all to act on these truths and to share them with others, that we may all draw closer to Jesus Christ, our Savior.

Jesus Christ is the central Being of all human history.
In the 17 years I have been in the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, I have had special experiences and moments of powerful spiritual enlightenment that allows me to testify with honesty and completeness that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.

All that we do in the temple is tied directly to the Lord Jesus Christ. Here we can become more holy, more like the Savior.
As a new Apostle of the Lord in 2017, I was grateful to visit this wonderful country. Sister Rasband and I were overjoyed to return this weekend as I fulfilled an assignment from the First Presidency to dedicate the Managua Nicaragua Temple.
Attending the temple is a deeply personal experience. One by one we present ourselves at the entrance and are invited into the Lord’s house.
One by one we receive ordinances and make covenants. One by one we may feel lifted, reminded, and renewed in our spiritual journey, receiving greater hope, and strength from the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
Go often to the temple, let its light bless your whole life.
As an Apostle of Jesus Christ called to testify of Him and His name in all the world, I bear my solemn witness that He lives, and is directing the work of the ongoing Restoration.
Stay close to Him, and show your love by spending time in His hallowed house.

All of us can receive divine direction for our lives.
If you are doing your best to honor the covenants you have made with your Heavenly Father, you can act in faith knowing that you will receive His guidance in your life.
I was pleased to share my thoughts on this during a conversation with the director of social media for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during my time at BYU-Idaho last week.

None of us is untouched by the challenges of the world around us.
We live in a time of conflict, displacement, uncertainty, and division. In such a world, my mind often returns to one of the simplest and most powerful teachings of Jesus Christ:
“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God” (Matthew 5:9).

My conviction is simple: the world is better when faith reminds us that we are all children of God and, therefore, brothers and sisters to one another.
It was my privilege to deliver these remarks as the closing keynote at the Forum On Faith this year at New York University. I titled my message “A World of Faith” to align with the evening’s theme, “From Dialogue to Repair: What Faith Can Do for a Fractured World.”
As the waters of the Solimões and Negro Rivers flow together to form the mighty Amazon, so our distinct gifts, joined in faith and charity, can carry hope far beyond our individual reach.
Together, as children of God, we can become a force for good in the world and help build a future marked by belonging, service, and hope.

Few truths bring greater hope, comfort, and joy than the knowledge that families can be together forever. This is at the heart of our Heavenly Father's plan of happiness.
Kristen and I spent a few moments with our available family members following general conference earlier this month. How grateful I am that meaningful relationships such as these can be eternal.

One beautiful motif that adorns the newly dedicated Miraflores Guatemala City Guatemala Temple is the monja blanca—the “white nun orchid.”
It is Guatemala’s national flower symbolizing peace, beauty, and tranquility, and a fitting choice to represent the feelings and emotions associated with a Holy House of the Lord.
I was honored to dedicate this temple unto the Lord. When we enter the sacred space within the Lord’s house, we are invited to leave the world behind and elevate our thoughts to a higher and holier plane.

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invite each other and all men and women everywhere to “come unto Christ.”
As a prophet has told us in the Book of Mormon: “I would that ye should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption” (Omni 1:26).

I have spent my entire adult life with young people—including seven-and-a-half years as president of BYU-Idaho.
Susan and I are beyond thrilled to participate in activities this week at the university as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of this remarkable institution of higher education.
You students at BYU-I (@byuidaho) and our other young members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are wonderful disciples of the Savior. Please do not be too hard on yourselves.
Be worthy. Be available.
Put the Lord first and all the other parts of life will fall into place.

On the somber anniversary of October 7, Lantos Foundation President @LantosSwettK reflects on that infamous day and the torrent of antisemitism it unleashed. She takes a clear-eyed, unvarnished look at the scourge of antisemitism today, and also the warning signs over the past decades that such a resurgence of Jew hatred could occur.
But she also offers hope, reminding us of the moments in history when individuals, and even nations, have chosen light over darkness and have taken a courageous stand against antisemitism and all forms of hate.

Sometimes the greatest obstacle to moving forward isn't a lack of faith, but the belief that we must first be perfect.
One couple's decision to be sealed in the temple became a beautiful lesson in trusting the Lord and taking the next step.

The savior invites us to come unto him.
1. Come= move from where you are, closer to him.
2. Deny yourselves, would you give up anything to choose him?
3. Be perfected in him, you are not required to already be perfect.
