Excited for this newly announced Phase 2 trial of GLP-1s for AUD in patients with ALD by @novonordiskus. Clinical trials for this highly prevalent, at-risk group of patients are so rare! and desperately needed. We need more R&D but this is a great start.

I keep seeing people in the hospital who say they were "lost to care" because they didn't have health insurance. I send every one of them to HealthCare.gov. Enrollment is now: #EnrollByJan16 to #GetCovered. It WILL save your life. & 9 out of 10 get financial assistance.
