The Cabinet commended the participation of HH The Amir in the 8th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the member countries of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) in Moscow, which reflected his commitment to strengthening coordination and exchanging views on the challenges facing global gas markets, and reaffirmed the State of Qatar’s leading role in the liquefied natural gas industry. His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, has issued Amiri Decision No. (39) of 2026 regulating the conclusion of treaties and international agreements, effective January 2027. The Amiri decision sets out the executive procedures for Law No. (17) of 2026 on treaties and international agreements. It aims to define signature and accession procedures, assign roles and responsibilities, and strengthen monitoring of concluded agreements, thereby enhancing the State's regional and international standing @mojgovqa @MofaQatar_EN

The Amiri decision aims to develop government legislative work and strengthen planning, follow-up and governance across the legislative process. It keeps pace with future developments and ensures that legislation is well prepared and aligned with national strategies

أصدر حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني، أمير البلاد المفدى، القرار الأميري رقم (38) لسنة 2026 بتنظيم إعداد التشريعات، على أن يُعمل به اعتباراً من يناير 2027. ويهدف القرار الأميري إلى تطوير العمل التشريعي الحكومي وتعزيز التخطيط والمتابعة والحوكمة في العملية التشريعية، بما يواكب المتغيرات المستقبلية ويكفل حسن إعداد التشريعات ومواءمتها مع الاستراتيجيات الوطنية

The Cabinet welcomed the outcomes of the talks between HH The Amir and HE the President of the French Republic, as well as the outcomes of the ninth meeting of the Qatar-Singapore High-Level Joint Committee. The Cabinet also commended HH The Amir’s participation in the Seventh Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA). This came during the Cabinet meeting held today, chaired by HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The Council of Ministers Secretariat General has begun its Digital Infrastructure Project with a contract signed with QDS, building a modern, secure technical foundation that protects systems and data and supports the State's vision of an advanced, innovative digital government.

أعلنت الأمانة العامة لمجلس الوزراء بدء تنفيذ مشروع تطوير البنية التحتية الرقمية، بتوقيع عقد مع شركة قطر لأنظمة الكمبيوتر (QDS)، لإرساء بنية تقنية حديثة وآمنة تعزز حماية الأنظمة والبيانات، وتدعم توجهات الدولة نحو حكومة رقمية متقدمة ومبتكرة.

The Cabinet commended HH The Amir’s address at the opening of the annual session of the Shura Council, and the important messages it conveyed, which reviewed the exceptional events faced by the State of Qatar and the resilience it demonstrated in confronting them, and set out the requirements for the next phase of the country’s development and comprehensive progress, building on the foundations laid by HH The Father Amir, may his soul rest in peace. HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani patronised the opening of the second regular session of the second legislative term, corresponding to the Shura Council’s 55th annual session. HH The Amir delivered a speech on the occasion, in which he reviewed the most prominent issues and topics related to domestic affairs, as well as regional and international developments.

تفضل حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني، أمير البلاد المفدى، فشمل برعايته الكريمة افتتاح دور الانعقاد العادي الثاني من الفصل التشريعي الثاني، الموافق لدور الانعقاد السنوي الخامس والخمسين لمجلس الشورى، وألقى سموه خطاباً بهذه المناسبة استعرض فيه أبرز القضايا والموضوعات المتعلقة بالشأن المحلي والتطورات الإقليمية والدولية.

During the first regular session of the second legislative term, corresponding to the Shura Council’s 54th annual session, cooperation between the Council of Ministers and the Shura Council reflected an effective model of integration between the executive and legislative authorities, supporting legislative work. This cooperation was evident in the referral, study, and discussion of draft laws, as well as the discussion of public matters and proposals, enhancing the quality of legislation and supporting the achievement of national objectives @ShuraQatar
