A sublime evening with Westward the Light, talented @juliefowlis and friends @DuncanWChisholm et al @KingsPlace.
One of my favourite English writers. Loved her wit, honesty and imagination.
Angela Carter, #botd in 1940, was voted the tenth greatest writer since 1945 on this list @thetimes back in 2008.
What do you think?

An interesting juxtaposition at the lovely @stgilescg. A thought provoking papier-mâché bowl, 7 barrel tombs covered in lichens, flowering magnolias and many more.
Any information about the people buried in these barrel tombs @stgilescg ?
Could you help? @frjacknoble @stgilescg ? Intrigued by these seven horizontal graves at the churchyard. Try to find information about the persons buried to no avail. This historical document is interesting though.
#lichens Phlyctis argena, a crustose lichen with pale prothallus. Fairly smooth, some cracked, cream grey thallus. UV-, C-, K+ yellow becoming red. Grow on a horizontal branch of a mature oak.
