Calabar was truly electric today! The energy, warmth and beautiful reception that greeted Mr Peter Obi and Senator @KwankwasoRM at the town hall meeting were remarkable. Mr @PeterObi return from the United States, accompanied by his lovely wife, brought an even more special dimension to the ongoing town hall engagements across the country. It was a beautiful experience, filled with renewed enthusiasm, meaningful conversations and the unmistakable spirit of civic participation. Unfortunately, after the town hall, some suspected APC thugs reportedly attempted to attack one of the vehicles in the convoy. They apparently picked the wrong day and the wrong people for that adventure. They were firmly resisted and, by all accounts, left with a rather painful lesson. Those who came looking for trouble certainly did not have the last laugh! But beyond the drama, political thuggery and intimidation must have no place in our democracy. Nigerians deserve to engage, assemble and express themselves without fear. Enough of this nonsense! Dr. Mo National Coordinator, Obidient Movement (Global)

I've said this many times, if Peter Obi had any skeletons in his cupboard or was corrupt like many other politicians, this APC-led administration would have seized the opportunity to arrest him, lock him up and keep him behind bars until after the election, especially as an opposition figure. This is precisely why the corrupt political elites are so disturbed by him. They know that, no matter how hard they try, there is no credible wrongdoing they can pin on him. They cannot find the kind of dirt they are accustomed to using against politicians, and that is what makes him a major threat to their corrupt establishment. — Pat Utomi Nigerians, in Peter Obi, we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Your dedication to making a difference in the lives of women is truly inspiring. My prayer is that God will continue to strengthen you, enlarge your coast and bless the work of your hands. May He grant you the resources, wisdom and opportunity to take your passion even further, and may the dream of using robotic technology to help women across the world become a beautiful reality. Today, following his return from the United States, I had the opportunity to meet with His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, alongside the Lagos State candidate. It was a particularly important engagement, not merely because of the opportunity to interact with him, but because of the very important thoughts and perspectives he shared about the responsibilities of candidates as we approach the 2027 general election. Mr. Peter Obi's message to candidates was a reminder that seeking public office is not about the glamour of political recognition. It is about understanding the people, taking their concerns seriously, communicating a clear vision, building relationships across communities and demonstrating, through conduct and preparation, that one is ready to serve. Candidates must understand that the responsibility begins long before election day. They must build their structures, identify with the people, understand their constituencies, mobilise credible supporters, strengthen grassroots relationships and, importantly, pay serious attention to the protection of every vote cast. There was also a deeper lesson in the engagement: leadership is not about waiting for people to come to you. It is about going to the people, listening to them, understanding their realities and earning their trust. I left the engagement reminded of why this journey matters and why the work ahead demands more seriousness than ever before. To those who have been busy manufacturing stories, speculating about Mr. Peter Obi and searching for imaginary cracks in a movement built on shared convictions, I hope we can redirect some of that energy towards the real issues confronting our country. Mr. Peter Obi is back, and the work continues. We have an election to prepare for, a country to reclaim and millions of Nigerians whose hopes must not be disappointed. This is not the season for distractions, political entertainment or endless internal theatrics. It is the season for preparation, discipline, strategic thinking and action. A New Nigeria is POssible! Do you know that as the man of the house, your legal wife can walk into a shop, buy something on credit, and tell them “my husband will pay”? Yes. In law, this is called agency by cohabitation. Once you are legally married and living together, the law assumes she has the authority to pledge your credit for things that are necessary for the family. Food, household items, and other basic needs that match your lifestyle can fall under this. She can only do this for things that are necessary for the family. If she goes and buys something that is not necessary, the debt is on her own head. You are not automatically responsible. So while the principle exists, it has clear limits. The law is not emotional
