Apologies to people who follow me. Genuinely. I'm usually more even keeled when it comes to sports. Especially Aggie football. I'm under no blue blood delusions. But the ingredients are there. BEEN there. The support is there. The athletes (and the ability to bring the best into the fold in short order) are all fucking there. The 12th Man is THE most passionate, long-suffering fanbase in college football. Everyone says that about their school, but no fanbase LIVES it like Texas Aggies. You can tell when the horns are having a good season or not based upon how many orange shirts are around town. Aggie maroon is fucking constant, win or lose. I'm not asking for a Bama dynasty (no reason why we couldn't achieve similar in College Station, but I digress). Just ONE fucking magic carpet ride, and I'd be grateful for a lifetime. Just one season where we coalesce all these winning elements and take advantage of favorable circumstances. Want to celebrate that with my son, but even moreso with my dad. Even in a season like this, he's the most positive, glass-half-full Aggie to ever live. He's where I get my persistent positivity from. He deserves it, and I hope his faith will be rewarded someday. Fix this shit or bring in someone who can, Aggieland. Gig 'Em 👍🏈
