If Jesus is the visible God prior to the incarnation, it seems necessary for him to have a different set of properties from the invisible Father and Holy Spirit right?
Revelation 5 presents the Father and the Lamb as the explicit recipients of universal heavenly worship, while the seven spirits, despite their prominent symbolic presence, are never independently addressed or worshipped.
Where is the command to “believe in the Holy Spirit” & where is the Spirit worshiped?
“And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, and Giver of Life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, Who spoke by the Prophets”
Not worthy because of divine equal person…
Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals,
for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God,
Worthy are you, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they existed and were created.
The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name.
The one who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received authority from my Father.
In Trinitarian theology, the Son both died and was immortal simultaneously.
So we really have to say a small part of him died, but the person never died.
The fact that the New Testament never once says the one God is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit should be quite alarming to a Trinitarian.
Yet most are not alarmed.
Why?
Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence
If God can create, appoint, empower, resurrect, and exalt the Messiah, why would God’s use of a human mediator logically require the mediator to possess God’s own identity?
A majority of “Trinitarians” are modalists.
The minority are tritheist.
The remainder are incoherent.
The demons get it, why don’t the Trinitarians?
You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!
