Lending and borrowing are now re-enabled on Aave following a precautionary freeze.
Withdrawals and repayments remained available throughout.
Aave was unaffected, and all positions remain overcollateralized.
Update following the Binance incident:
All markets are now unfrozen across Aave V3 and V4.
They were frozen as a precaution after initial reports, which paused new deposits and borrows while withdrawals and repayments continued as normal.
Aave contracts were unaffected by the incident and positions remained fully collateralized.

The next ECB president must bring a bold vision for Europe's financial future, one that embraces innovation, fosters competition, and positions Europe as a global leader rather than a follower.
Stablecoins, DeFi, and tokenized assets are the foundations of the future of finance. Europe needs ECB leadership that recognizes their potential, removes barriers to innovation, and ensures the next generation of financial infrastructure is built in Europe.
I have just informed my colleagues that I will step down as @ECB President on 7 February 2027.
It has been a source of great pride to serve this institution.
I thank all of those who have supported me on this journey over the past seven years.
