I don’t really care too much which colour wins this election.
All I want is service delivery.
The winning parties are going to be scrutinised over the next 5 years so they better deliver.
Otherwise…

In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule.

Remember when the DA wrote to America to request them be involved in our elections?
Think about that when you go vote today.

Helen Zille can do donuts in every Gusheshe in Gauteng until the wheels come off, the answer is still NO!
Yep
Before you vote tomorrow, remember that the Concourt ruled that the DA perpetuates apartheid spatial planning in Cape Town

What a privilege it is to be able to run, afford a gym membership, buy healthy food, pay your bills, walk on your own legs, see with your own eyes, think clearly, work every day, and push your body to become stronger.
Never take these blessings for granted.
Don’t be attracted to shortcuts.
Don’t compromise what you value or principles.
Leave the instant gratification.
You don’t need to prove yourself to anyone.
Your reputation will precede you.
Don’t compromise your character.
Build slowly but properly.
One step at a time.
Don’t be consumed by urgency.
People are rushing like there’s no tomorrow.
But
The sun will come out, tomorrow…
Relax. Things will happen.
More haste; less speed.
government should be boring. roads should work. water should be clean. hospitals should function. public transport should run. the taxes we pay should quietly fund all of it. nobody needs their government to be entertaining. they need it to fucking work
I don’t understand the mindset.
There are so many historical examples and sayings that ‘unity is power’ and that ‘United we stand, together we fall’.. and many more.
Yet, it seems like people are not learning from the past. We are all South Africans and All citizens need to be cared for and served by the people who are elected into Power.
The fact that this is happening after generations of abuse is appalling.
I do not support corruption in any way, shape or form. But there’s a clear difference and distinction between doing bad or wrong things because of incompetence compared to doing the same things maliciously and with sinister intentions.
