The Propagandists have started🤦. Guys marginal taxation is different from total taxation. The proposed 39.5% PAYE rate applies ONLY to income exceeding K37,000, not one's entire salary. So if you earn K40,00 it means the extra K3000 is where the tax will come from, a K1,185.

Thomas Tuchel is right on Cole Palmer. He’s an exceptional creative talent, unplayable at times as PS-G learned in CWC final, but if he’s not busting a gut to play for England (like others, Gibbs-White etc) or is committed to “load management” then why on earth should Tuchel pick him? Representing your country is not a right. It's an honour that has to be earned.
He’s not starting at 10. Jude Bellingham is. Rogers is first change. Tuchel has plenty of options at 10. MG-W, and now the uncapped King. Yes, Eze is fortunate to keep his place (his character and commitment are valued). Foden is not even in the squad. Jobe Bellingham is not a 10, more a 6 or 8.
Palmer is not starting wide right as Tuchel wants pace there, usually Saka or Madueke, in this squad Ngumoha or Rogers. If Palmer wants to fight his way into the England team, he has to report, show his (undoubted) quality in training and his chance will come, given subs, injuries, rotation etc.
Over the next week, Tuchel’s chosen ones will play a packed-out Wembley against Croatia celebrating Harry Kane’s Ballon d’Or and his record-breaking 126th appearance and then test themselves against the world champions in Madrid. Big occasions. And Cole Palmer’s missing out. #ENG

The last year has been difficult for Cole Palmer because of recurring injury problems. Even Tuchel confirmed that he had been playing through pain and discomfort, and this is something every Chelsea fan knows.

Currently, the first 5,100 is taxed @ 0%, the next 2,000 @ 20%, and the next 2,100 @ 30%. Meaning if your salary is 37,000, the 9,200 will attract PAYE of 1,030 (0+400+630). The remaining 27,800 @ 37% (10,286).
