Personally, I think some people misunderstand explanations as excuses. When people ask “why did you do that? what happened?” I assumed it’s a genuine question. Maybe it’s the side of me that doesn’t really understand social cues.
no offense to people w bpd like absolutely none bc i have several friends that are #bpdedout but why do some of them act like they aren’t responsible for their actions and refuse any accountability whatsoever LMAOOO
also people need to genuinely understand that when you are mid breakdown, you sometimes aren’t actively choosing to do this. it’s so ignorant to think “oh why would u do that if u know it’s bad” idk it’s a disorder and sometimes you’re not able to whip out coping skills
sometimes I try to think of every scenario where it can be misunderstood, but then it still gets misunderstood
People who overexplain aren't always trying to justify themselves. Sometimes, they've been misunderstood so many times that they feel the need to clarify every detail, hoping their words won't be twisted again. What looks like too much explaining may come from a history of not being heard. Instead of judging them for it, try meeting them with patience and understanding.

Currently listening to Nicole Kidman by ADÉLA and my boyfriend goes "Wow, that's a really big switch up for her!"....
He thought she was Adele

I’ve decided to stop supporting Emma Blackery due to the allegations, in support of the victims. Some of whom I was friends with when I was a more active fan years ago. I have reason to believe them entirely. I feel very blind and silly right now. ❤️ you’re all super brave
