Aphasia is loss of language, not intellect, and it's so heartbreaking to see that no one understands what this is. I do believe that a person with aphasia could serve as a US senator. And it's only been a few months, it will get better. Nobody understands.

What are the predictive factors of stuttering persistence? If there are multiple risk factors present, does this increase the odds of a child developing persistent stuttering? (1/7)

Loving your (spoiler-free) enthusiasm for this grand finale. I've purchased the Coda books but probably won't read them for years yet, as I'm just beginning to get into things at the other end of the story (currently reading A Time to Harvest)... can't wait to get there one day.

I always talk about how this framework is the single most transformative idea I've ever encountered as a therapist. I hope this publication will help other therapists (and me too!) continue to better meet the needs of teens who stutter (wherever they're at). Can't wait.

I have often wondered this about the yips and stuttering! A functionally specific challenge to initiation of complex motor movements in the absence of motor or neurological deficits sounds familiar.

Like, there's a "chance" I will get wet if it is pouring rain outside
When I type 'stammer' or 'stammering' into my iPhone, the woozy-face emoji🥴appears. Pls cld someone at @Apple tell me if this is calculated mockery, a stab at puerile humour or the act of a disgruntled ex-employee? I'm honestly curious. @stammer

Such well-articulated thoughts -- here's looking forward to a worthy finale to this one-of-a-kind journey for Trek fans.
