Cardinal's Wharf at nr. 49, Bankside SE1. A veery beautiful building where the 'judge' lived. A long history with famous residents and thank God, it is (grade II) listed. This location was used in episode S01E10 'Judgement'. 'Now' picture from 2018.

#OnThisDay 1831 HMS BEAGLE sailed from #Plymouth Sound on a 5 year circumnavigation carrying a little known naturalist called Charles Darwin. #darwin recorded the voyage in the best selling book ,The Voyage of the Beagle and went on to write the Origin of Species. @HMNBDevonport

St. Saviour's Dock at Bermondsey has its origins in the 11th century when the monks of a nearby monastery turned the tidal mouth of the River Neckinger into a landing place. It is where Bill Sykes met his death in the Charles Dickens novel 'Oliver Twist'.
