How much of an impact was Elliot Dimaculangan against ADMU?
Entering the half, UP was down 3.
They ended the 3rd qtr with a 7-pt edge.
That’s a 10-pt swing.
Elliot’s pts? 13
All in the third.

So far, #UPFight’s edge against other teams has been their bench. There were games where the bench outscored the prime lineup. Such a deep bag for the Maroons this season
The big HOWEVER for me, though, is their perimeter shooting and turnovers. These two needs a lot of tweaking
Exactly what I wanted to say. The quotient factor, when it kicks in, can mess up the match-ups come F4. So the pts mayter
Anyways, the parties involved have said their pieces. So that should be the end of it for us too
But if u’re itching for an expletive, then you do you.

Gold Monteverde attempted to explain that Jacob Bayla's late-game dunk stemmed from the coaching staff's constant reminder to the players that every point matters, especially with the standings so tight

So far, UP has done well in the adjustment bureau of their game. They would fall flat usually at the start, but then they regain their footing mid-game. Come third, cylinders are clicking.
Still a work in progress though. Hopefully, they’re polished enough for the post season.
Also, worth mentioning, Elliot DEYMaculangan’s all around game, shooting threes, steals, blocks, and timely boards.

Now comes the tough stretch.
#UPFight’s final three games are against the top three teams in the standings, all vying for a shot at the 2TB ticket: NU, FEU, and DLSU.
A hard-fought win, earned by crashing the offensive boards, upping on defense, and making timely shots.
VJ Pre making his case for MVP as seen tonight.
But one guy worth singling out is Reiner Maga, who was definitely a magic pull from the bench.
#UPFight
Ateneo has been sharp & steady with disruptive defense on UP’s main guys. But UP has had some luck with their bench guys giving solid minutes, keeping them within a possession behind their Katipunan neighbor
Battle of Katipunan rd 2 is set to be a nerve-wracking one

If he were of a weaker stock, Jacob Bayla would have folded, not only after being relegated to the bench, but with a relatively dismal output to start his game.
But he soldiered on as the game progressed.
He ended up with quality mins doing some big impact plays.

A wire-to-wire win against a hot-shooting Adamson squad. Any other night, the Falcons could have pulled the rug from the opponent with the way they performed from beyond the arc. UP just had every answer to every run made against them.
#UPFight
I will go back to this tweet if UP loses:
Twice that UP wasted possessions, with them running out of time because they were unsure of what to run on offense.
#UPFight
Adamson’s sniping has kept them within arm’s length to UP, who has relentlessly answered every long bomb with smart half court plays and crafty defense.
#UPFight
Collectively, UP’s defense has finally settled after a couple of unsure minutes. They need to still tweak their perimeter clamp, as the Falcons have been having their way from long distance.
#UPFight
What to do when your shots ain’t falling?
Go back to your defensive calling card, says Jacob Bayla.
#UPFight
Adamson earning a living from beyond the arc.
UP, on the other hand, chucking in the points from the free throw.
#UPFight
Elliot Dimaculangan so far returning the favor to whoever decided he should start, with a remarkable performance so far.
