Earlier today, Dr. Wissam Jaber (Co-PI) presented #PEERLESS results LIVE from #TCT2024.
PEERLESS met its primary composite endpoint (win ratio 5.01, p<0.001), driven by patients experiencing significantly fewer clinical deteriorations or therapy escalations, fewer ICU admissions, and shorter ICU lengths of stay with #FlowTriever vs. CDT.

It is truly unbelievable that our patients have been left in the dark about their healthcare finances. Only 8.3 cents of each dollar spent on healthcare in the US goes to physicians. Let that sink in. Lowest in the industrialized world.
Physician pay over last 4 years: -7.76%
Yet physicians (as small businesses) have helped carry the economy through every downturn, generate new jobs, and pay taxes to their local economy.
Let’s fix this problem. Physicians are critical to local and national economies and require payment updates commensurate with the cost of doing business.
