only 0.1% of Africa’s total population and under 0.3% of the labor force currently works in the core tech industry.😳😳
and we’re already calling the industry oversaturated.
come let’s talk tech!
➥ people say there are too many people entering tech.
but are there too many people? or just few available jobs?
➥ we say Africans need better skills.
but do we have equal access to practical experience, equipment, networks and employers?
➥ then comes the advice: “anyone can get a remote job”.
Really? can everyone access those opportunities under the same hiring and employment conditions?
look at Ai training platforms like Outlier Ai and data annotation opportunities.
➥ the truth is Africa might not be much in global tech while the individual African professionals already in tech face great competition for a limited supply of accessible jobs.
now, what’s the main problem?

. @_Nikeofweb3 I forgive you … I feel finally at peace after telling my story , I will no longer get shivers when your handle come across my timeline and I remember how I stopped entering uniport cos I thought some cultists were going to jump me.
I FORGIVE YOU , I pray you get the mental health help you need.
And for those gassing her up, get her help , she needs it.
Ps: the video below was when she came to my signout unannounced, my first time ever meeting her irl btw , this was after she accused me online , there was no apology no nothing , just her telling me “it’s just online issues for engagement “, mind you she sent me threats that cultists will deal with me , she came to my signout, how did she know so much about me?? I don’t know.
It’s hard having someone obsessed with you , I experienced that and that’s why I stopped posting things about myself online …. Crazy world out here … stay safe 🫶🏽
You that slept with the guy i was dating that year?
Please leave me alone with your horrible attitude.
You dont know me Ify? But you have joined me on a bike before because you were late to class.

How will I hit my daily 700 replies without tick🤔.

A few days ago, I sent the first essay I'd ever written to a friend.
After he read it, he said something I haven't been able to stop thinking about.
"I wonder why you're not writing, man."
Then he said:
"Do it. You're so good."
And finally:
"I feel like you can heal people's souls just by what you write."
I don't know if that's true.
But I do know his words gave me the push I'd been missing.
So this account is my answer to his question.
Every Sunday, I'll share an essay. Not because I have life figured out, but because the stories that have shaped my life might help someone else look at their own a little differently.
The first essay is called The Garden.
It's where this journey begins.

Chima speak to The Police:
"I Dated Mmesoma For 5 Years, Rented A House And Shop For Her, Paid Her House Rent And Bought Sewing Machines For Her, But She Left Me To Marry Another Man This December" - Chima Reportedly Tells Police On What Led Him To Take Mmesoma's Life.
Chima, the man accused of taking the life of his girlfriend Mmesoma in Anambra State, reportedly told the police that they had been in a relationship for five years.
According to reports, during their time together, Chima claimed he sponsored her tailoring training, paid her house rent, rented a shop for her and bought sewing machines for her, as they built their future together with hopes of getting married.
However, after five years, Mmesoma allegedly ended the relationship and was said to be planning to marry another man this December.
The reports have generated a lot of reactions online. But one thing must be clear: No heartbreak, financial sacrifice or relationship breakup can ever justify taking another person's life.
Chima's mother is reportedly from Uga in Anambra State, while his father is from Abakaliki in Ebonyi State. He was born and raised in Anambra.
I hope women learn a lot from this whole thing.
