Leon’s weapon in RE9, the "Alligator Snapper" is a custom handgun designed by Joseph Kendo, the brother of Robert Kendo, whom Leon met during the Raccoon City incident and who had a profound impact on Leon. Joseph previously created the "Silver Ghost" for Leon in RE4.
