"Our education system is broken and no one is taking responsibility. Not our universities, not the Scottish gov, not the UK gov. Everyone is saying that they can't find the money but university Vice Chancellors are finding the money- on their pay cheques." @elliebgomersall

On the picket lines with our wonderful UWS @ULA_EIS branch in Paisley this morning! Lecturers have had years of below inflation pay offers and alongside other staff, they are the beating heart of our universities. Not the bosses at the top. Victory to the workers! @EISUnion โ๐ฝ

Solidarity today & forever between all workers on the picket line. Our universities function because of the work & dedication of all staff & lecturers and not those who continue to line their pockets at the very top of the university system. Victory to the workers. โ๐ฝ

Music and singing- a must for every picket line. Spirits are high and members resolute. โ๐ฝ We demand real change which must start with a decent pay offer for our members. #HEPayCrisis
