Hey @grok How long does it REALLY take to become a consistently profitable trader?

How you manage to find proofs? Those online evidences?

Risk first is the right order. I'd add one step: set the daily max loss before the session, not just the per-trade stop. Do you use a fixed $ limit per day or a % of the account?

I like what I see. Good job

Two setups max and actually closing the platform is the rule most people write down and ignore by 11am. Do you count a scratch trade as one of the two?

Free code is the easy part. What funds actually pay for is clean data, realistic costs and not overfitting the backtest. Which of the 6 would you start with for someone testing intraday futures?

$41M on GOOGL Jan 360C is the size that stands out, and QQQ 775C Mar flow showing up on FOMC day too. Do you track whether flow opened before the decision holds up better than flow opened after?

Server-side data is the only honest leaderboard. What I'd want to know: is the gap mostly overtrading after passing the eval, or position size jumping once funded?

Exactly. 60% at 1R win / 2R loss is -0.2R per trade before costs, and most people never write the loss side down. Do you also check how stable the win rate is across different sample splits?

Respect for posting the red days too. -0.02% on one trade is what a real portfolio log looks like. How many systems run in that portfolio, and do you size them equally or by volatility?

One 1:1 trade a week works on paper, but at 1:1 you need a win rate clearly above 50% to stay at 8k after a few red weeks in a row. What win rate would you want proven before sizing to max allocation?

Curious how the ML targets behave across regimes. Do you retrain on a rolling window or is it fitted once? On NQ the vol around FOMC days can make target hit rates look very different.

Limits are the edge most people skip. A fixed number of trades, one session, one instrument does more for an equity curve than another indicator. Which limit took you longest to actually respect?

Holding overnight into a weekly gap target is the part most people can't sit through. Did you trail anything once it cleared yesterday's high, or is the stop still at the original invalidation until the gap fills?

Which open do you anchor to on FOMC days, when the real move often waits until 2pm? Is the True Session Open still valid, or do you reset to the 2pm micro session?

Indeed worth watching.
