I love driving my Cybertruck…
But I also kinda don't 😂
729 of my last 1,031 miles were FSD 71%.
The truck does most of the driving now… I just enjoy the ride, and “don’t work, read, or watch videos.”

This is a capacity problem. They might not have the resources yet to keep up, and whether it’s cpu usage or energy, and/or combination of mitigating.
The fact that cost was downgraded to increase demand as a marketing tool is exactly what they did with the $59k Cybertruck and booked them out until 2027, but with this, the product is available instantaneously, and I don’t think the resources were ready.
People want good product, but the pricing has to be reasonable and they have to find a happy medium. Obviously the answer wasn’t adjusting usage, but that limits everyone this week immediately, unless we pay more, which is why it has to be capacity restraints.

people asked how I make these bot avatars 👀
here's how:
(or reply with your bot's job, I'll make one for you)
was surprised that you can't create new cute bot characters in Grok Bot
so I just made my own
@poteto pls ship this 🙏
Free trials are great… until you forget and get billed.
Grok Bot tip: the "Try it, don't pay for it" template starts a free trial for you, then cancels it (or reminds you) before it bills.
Perfect for that streaming trial you only want for one show this holiday season.

Hackers linked to China have been quietly mapping America's power grid… for years.
Not attacking it. Mapping it.
And the way in is often a router just like the one in your house.
Here's the full story 👇
May 2023: Microsoft first publicly flagged "Volt Typhoon" and traced its activity back to about mid-2021. The target was critical infrastructure.
Nov 2023: Littleton Electric Light and Water, a small Massachusetts utility, found them inside its network. Dragos says they'd been there since Feb 2023… 300+ days, gathering OT and grid-layout data. The utility says no customer-sensitive data was compromised.
Feb 2024: CISA, NSA and FBI, with Five Eyes partners, warned that Volt Typhoon had compromised communications, energy, transportation and water networks, including Guam. Some victims showed access for at least 5 years. Their assessment was pre-positioning for disruption in a major crisis or conflict.
Oct 28, 2026: Lumen's Black Lotus Labs revealed "Silent Train." It's a rotating chain of hacked home routers, IoT and enterprise devices that hides where the attacks come from. Sessions averaged about 4 hours, then they cleaned up. Lumen tracked it for 3 years and sent hundreds of victim notifications. Hawaii, California and Texas were the most targeted.
Officials describe this as pre-positioning, not active attacks. In 2024 testimony, then-CISA Director Easterly said the aim could be to stop the U.S. from projecting power into Asia, or to cause societal chaos at home.
My take… it's a map of single points of failure, drawn before anything happens.
The good news is that people are preparing. NERC's GridEx VIII drill (Nov 2025) drew 370+ organizations, and the Pentagon announced FORTRESS, an energy-resilience push for military bases.
What you can do tonight:
• Update your router's firmware
• Replace a router that no longer gets updates
• Turn off remote admin
• Change default passwords

Students… this one's huge.
Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) now has hundreds of free textbooks built in, from OpenStax, Open Textbook Library and S Chand.
Open a notebook, tap Add sources, then Textbooks.
Answers cite the book inline, and it'll build study guides, quizzes and flashcards. US and India for now.

Everyone should get on solar (or something) to keep sustained and not go back to the dark ages, as grid over-usage and cost is becoming more and more unrealistic.
Hey @grok what would happen if the United States had no power for 6 months?
What would the survival rate be?
I pray you’re wrong, Glenn.
The last time I felt the urge to give a warning like this was in 2007, right before the 2008 crash.
Across Europe, governments are quietly issuing emergency "Be Ready" advisories, asking citizens to stockpile cash, water, and food. Add that to the Pentagon’s new FORTRESS initiative and it sure looks like... SOMETHING is coming.
They're preparing for impact. And you should too.
I hope and pray I'm wrong. But I think massive global conflict is coming... and here's why.
Apple confirms it… some iPhone Duo inner screens are cracking at the hinge.
• "Small number" of units affected
• Free replacement through AppleCare, no AppleCare+ needed
• The defect shows up fast, so if yours is fine after a few days, you're likely in the clear
First-gen foldable growing pains… good on Apple for owning it quickly.

Sunday night, and the week ahead is already knocking…
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Philippians 4:6
Hand Him the week before it starts. His peace guards your heart and mind. Remember that.

Xbox Cloud Gaming without Game Pass… now testing with Insiders.
10 hrs: $3.99
25 hrs: $7.99
50 hrs: $11.99
Ad-free, and the hours never expire. You still need to own the game (or play a supported free-to-play title). Wider rollout in November.
That's 24 to 40 cents an hour… great for trying games on a phone or laptop, pricey for marathon sessions.

Years from now, people will look back and say Grok Bot was the moment AI actually became useful for normal people.
This week, I just texted it and:
1/ My kids woke up to new math and reading worksheets already printed
2/ It planned and booked trips for my family
3/ It ordered stuff for me from one text
4/ It printed my return label for a shoe I own and set a reminder so I don't miss the deadline
5/ It built a page that breaks down my net worth
And look at what other people are getting it to do too:
6/ Book a flight from start to finish
7/ Build a website or an Etsy store
8/ Reconcile crypto taxes that would cost hundreds
9/ Book a Tesla tire rotation during school drop-off
10/ Order itself a 3D-printed body and mail the parts home
You just text it like a person.
I've been early on Tesla.
I've been early on SpaceX.
I'm telling you, I'm early on this too.
This is the greatest thing that has happened to AI.
