Time is a flat circle. New conference, new players, new arena, new bargaining power - it doesn't matter. Led by Andy Toole, RMU basketball is back to being an annual contender, just like they were in the NEC days. Link: chriscappella.substack.com/p…

Robert Morris used a dominant first half, and big-time performances from Jalik Dunkley and Darius Livingston, to beat Canisius, 87-74. Many other players contributed and flashed parts of their game that will be relied on this season. Recap here: robertmorrissportsnow.com/ro…

And I promise the rest of my articles will not be as righteous and self-indulgent as this one... I had some stuff to get off my chest 🤣 I can't wait to strictly talk hoops!!

Big news that dramatically impacts the Green Bay men’s basketball program. As of right now - Aidan Hadaway and Orlando Lovejoy are ineligible. The Phoenix will tip off their exhibition slate in a few weeks.

The Behind The Scenes #RMCMB content discourse this year is going to be peak twitter content. People #OnHere thought our fan base is insane just because. No. Our program is defined by intensity, toughness and competition. You have to have buy-in to succeed here.

If this was any other coach than Andy Toole I’d be questioning it. The guy is immortal so you just have to wonder if this is the secret sauce.

Counterpoint: RMU is well known as the "academic Princeton" of mid-major, western PA basketball and games at the UPMC Events Center are way more lit than the G-League

Blowing a Princeton degree to eventually be a Summer League washout with an attempted comeback at Robert Morris has to be one of the most academically nearsighted decisions in recent memory 😬

Historic moment for creators as @allhailbball is officially the jersey patch sponsor for @RMUMBasketball It's the first deal of its kind for a creator and it's extremely innovative for RMU. Cullen puts up $0, but is now tasked with replicating the success from his 'Project Prospect' series (where he took an unknown high school player & turned him into a viral sensation) to the university level
