I don’t think the internet needs another person pretending to know exactly what happens next. I’m here to share how I think about markets, AI, data and the world changing around us. I’ll get things right. I’ll get things wrong. I’ll change my mind when the facts change. The goal isn’t to look smart every day. It’s to understand a little more than I did yesterday. No signals. No certainty. Just my perspective. Think freely. Decide for yourself.

Chainlink's ETFs hold nearly 3x more $LINK than its own Reserve. Q3-end figures: Grayscale + Bitwise ETFs: 16.65M LINK Chainlink Reserve: 6.05M LINK That's a 2.75x difference. The Reserve also accumulated 1.54M LINK during Q3 using revenue from Chainlink services. Two different sources of token demand: investment products and network economics. And the ETFs are already much larger.

According to Chainlink's Q3 report
3
One number from Chainlink’s Q3 report is ridiculous: Chainlink now powers 70%+ of the wrapped Bitcoin ecosystem. BitGo alone migrated $7.7B+ of WBTC to CCIP. So most wrapped Bitcoin is now moving across chains on Chainlink infrastructure. $BTC is becoming multichain. $LINK is sitting underneath it.

$BTC has a strange divergence. US spot ETFs: +$1.075B over Oct 19–21. BlackRock's IBIT alone: +$930M, accounting for 87% of net inflows. Yet $BTC is still around $82.2K. Meanwhile, Binance BTCUSDT perpetual open interest dropped nearly 7% in 12 hours. ETF money is flowing in while futures exposure is shrinking. Two very different sides of the market.
33
Bitcoin has a $12.8B options expiry loading for Oct. 30. 150,733 $BTC in open interest. That single expiry represents 34% of all open BTC options. Calls: 93,386 BTC Puts: 57,346 BTC Largest concentration: $95K calls, 20,240 BTC One expiry now holds a third of the entire options market. Oct. 30 could get violent.

$BTC just recorded its biggest hourly taker-sell imbalance in 24 hours on Binance. Oct 22, 01:00–02:00 UTC: Taker sells: 8,192 BTC Taker buys: 5,599 BTC Net selling: 2,593 BTC (~$217M) Price: -0.95% Open interest: -1,762 BTC (-1.8%) $1.16B traded in that single hour. Heavy selling hit while open futures positions were shrinking.

For years, crypto wanted a seat at Wall Street's table. On October 29, Wall Street takes a seat at Chainlink's.
Very excited about the Link:NYC conference next week in New York. Excited to be bringing together the top TradFi and DeFi teams and their senior leaders to discuss the future of the new global financial system. chain.link/events/linknyc

$BTC liquidity update: Our previous map highlighted $83.3K–$83.9K, with larger pools around $84K–$85K. BTC has now pushed to $84,081. The next liquidity concentrations sit around $84.1K–$84.3K and $84.6K–$85K. The upside hunt is underway. Watching whether BTC pushes deeper into those pools or gets rejected.
$BTC liquidity update: Our last map showed liquidity at $81.5K–$81.7K below and $83.1K–$83.4K above. BTC dipped to $81,219, then surged to $83,364. Both zones have now been tested. Fresh maps show liquidity around $83.3K–$83.9K, with larger pools near $84K–$85K. Watching whether BTC breaks higher or gets rejected.

Future token issuers using OpenZeppelin can access Chainlink infrastructure while writing their contracts, not after deployment. That’s how infrastructure becomes the default.
9/10 top stablecoins. 10/10 tokenized money market funds. All built using OpenZeppelin standards. Now Chainlink is entering that same development stack. That's how infrastructure becomes the default. $LINK

$LINK and $BTC are rallying, but their futures positioning tells two different stories. Last 24 hours on Binance: $LINK price: +3.4% Open interest: -2.5% $BTC price: +2.3% Open interest: +1.6% Same exchange. Same period. LINK is climbing while open contracts shrink. BTC is climbing while they expand. Not every rally comes with fresh leverage.

$LINK just went through a supply test nobody is talking about. 18.75M LINK entered circulation on Oct. 9 14.125M LINK, roughly $180M, was sent to Binance. That was ~2.45% of circulating supply hitting the market structure at once. LINK then: $12.81 LINK now: ~$12.2 And there’s currently no next unlock scheduled. That’s a lot of new supply for price to absorb without breaking.

JPMorgan just did something it hadn’t done in 31 years. For the first time, its long-term capital market assumptions put a return estimate on Bitcoin. 10-15 year expected compound returns: Bitcoin: 10.0% Private equity: 9.8% U.S. large caps: 7.5% Gold: 5.5% Bitcoin gets the highest return assumption of the group. Yet JPMorgan still leaves it out of its main portfolio covariance models because of its unstable correlations. They’re forecasting Bitcoin to win while still refusing to fully model it as a portfolio asset. $BTC

Solana's biggest consensus upgrade since launch is hours away. But ETF flows tell a very different story. Late September: 14 straight weeks of inflows. Since October 5: 12 consecutive trading days of outflows. $59.8M withdrawn. Meanwhile, $BTC ETFs attracted $549.9M in just October 19–20. $SOL is preparing for faster settlement while its ETF flow streak keeps worsening. A major technology upgrade doesn't guarantee fresh capital.

A 0.6% inflation-index move helped add £4 BILLION to Britain's debt interest bill. New UK data, October 21: Debt interest: £10.9B Inflation-linked uplift: £4.0B Share of interest: 36.7% Highest September interest bill on record. Meanwhile, UK public debt just crossed £3 TRILLION for the first time. Inflation isn't just squeezing households. It's hitting government balance sheets too.

Two letters. Same SEC crypto proposal. Very different reactions. Nasdaq supports new fundraising exemptions: $5M over 4 years $75M per 12 months Meanwhile, US community bankers warn that crypto expansion could weaken bank deposits. They cite a separate stablecoin-rewards scenario: Up to $1.3T in deposits shifting ~$850B in lost lending capacity These are modeled risks, not actual losses. Wall Street sees a fundraising opportunity. Community banks see a funding threat.

For clarity, this is what I meant by "no next unlock currently scheduled." I wasn’t saying LINK will never release more supply.

Something unusual just happened in crypto. $BTC , $ETH , $SOL and $LINK all recorded their busiest Binance futures hour in 72 hours. At the exact same time. Oct 20, 14:00–15:00 UTC: Combined volume: $5.29B Nearly 4x the previous hour. All four rallied, then quickly pulled back. Massive synchronized volume. Weak follow-through.

Fresh liquidity is building around $81.5K–$81.7K below, while $83.1K–$83.4K remains overhead. The map has shifted lower in the short term. Watching whether $BTC sweeps the nearby downside pool or reclaims $82.5K
