#DRC: in a decision from 19 October, the @csac_rdc threatens to sanction media outlets that give a platform to the FRN or broadcast certain content related to armed groups. RSF warns that these disproportionate restrictions are framed in dangerously vague terms and calls on the regulator to uphold journalists’ right to report on the conflict in the east of the country.

#Israel: A 3rd journalist has had their entry visa denied in the run-up to the legislative elections. @eldiarioes reporter Francesca Cicardi had already secured press accreditation and was given no justification for the refusal. As restrictions grow, RSF is concerned that the authorities are rejecting international reporters' visa applications based on the editorial stance of the media outlets they represent.
