Science doesn't contradict faith. At Reasons to Believe, we show how the latest discoveries align with the God of the Bible. Here's who we are and how we can help you grow in a confident, well-reasoned faith.
“The vastness of the cosmos highlights God’s creative power, not the necessity of extraterrestrial life.”

This is the odds the universe's curvature would allow stars, planets, or you to exist.
Scientists studying habitability consider dozens of factors that influence whether a planet could support complex life. Researchers have identified 16 different habitability zones involving conditions like:
- A suitable star
- The right orbit
- Planetary protection
- Atmospheric stability
- Chemical availability
- Geological activity
Each condition represents another piece of the puzzle.
The universe didn’t have to be this way. The universe could have been different. Earth could have been different. The conditions necessary for complex life could have been different. So what should we make of the remarkable conditions we observe?
RTB’s newest book, "The Heavens Declare: How the Bible and Creation Tell the Same Story," explores the discoveries behind our universe and the bigger questions they raise about God, creation, and what it means to live in a universe that could have been very different.

We are excited to be back at the SES Steadfast National Conference on October 9th!
Stop trying to hide your weakness.
Trying to project an image of perfection often blocks the very message you want to share.
Authentic faith shines brightest when people see God working through genuine human limitation and weakness.
Unbelievers recognize supernatural grace when they see real transformation in an openly imperfect life.

In the latest episode of "The Shift," Dr. Bates explains why having thousands of manuscripts, and even differences among them, can actually help scholars investigate the earliest form of the New Testament text.

This passage reminds us that Jesus is not afraid of our questions.
Thomas wanted to see the evidence. He wanted to touch the wounds. And when Jesus appeared to him, He didn’t turn away or condemn him for wanting to know.
He invited him closer.
"I shook my fist at God and said, 'I don't believe any of this.'"
What happened next changed everything.

Science answers how. Faith answers why. And confusing the two is the source of most of the conflict.
The headlines keep coming.
Government hearings.
UAP sightings.
Questions no one seems able to answer.
So... how should Christians think about it?
Episode 2 of The Shift is now live on YouTube and your favorite podcast platform!
Join host Britney Brown as she sits down with Dr. Mark Clark to explore one of today's most fascinating topics through the lenses of science, faith, and Scripture.

Where does the science really point us? youtu.be/leksDiMtcc0?si=S-i3…
Most of us inherited our views. Very few of us have ever challenged them.
Episode 1 of The Shift begins with Dr. Leslie Wickman, a woman who has spent her career working alongside NASA, and whose biggest discovery wasn't in space.
It was that science and faith were never enemies to begin with.

A question every Christian should ask themselves: “Do I know what I believe… and why I believe it?”
At some point, we all encounter difficult questions about faith, science, Scripture, and the world around us. The answer isn’t to avoid the questions. It’s to pursue truth with humility, curiosity, and confidence.
You don’t need a PhD or to go to seminary school. You need a willingness to seek, learn, and grow.
Because when we behold God’s glory, we are transformed by it, and equipped to share it with others.
Join us next Thursday, July 16 for "The Shift."
The most dangerous sentence to the Christian faith isn't, "I don't believe."
It's: "I'm afraid to ask."
The best conversations begin where certainty ends.
We've spent years talking with scientists, philosophers, and theologians who aren't afraid of hard questions. Now we're bringing those conversations to a new podcast.
Watch the trailer for our newest podcast The Shift premiering July 16.
What question should we ask?
