Syntropy between species across space, time, and function.

Project Xanadu is computing's most famous vaporware. Ted Nelson imagined a system that kept every version of a document, hypertext links that knew source and destination, and quotations kept by reference. Everything would be "intertwingled".
It sounds a lot like Delta + DeltaDB to @nathansobo: zed.dev/blog/agentic-xanadu

Glad you found a copy!
For others curious… reprints and originals are still available from the Ted Nelson Archive store at computerlibbook.com
Along with other treasures and doodads periodically that we uncover from the archives :)

Being high agency means getting shit done.
But it ALSO means NOT doing the bad thing, even when game theory backs you into a corner.
It's easy to say "my competitors are building AGI too fast, so I gotta go faster". But that's weak, low-agency behaviour.
True power players find new ways to be build lasting trust & coordination between the warring factions.
That's the hard thing, and where our real heroes will be found.

OK GPT-6 Astra is insane at making games.
I remade Paperboy - everything modelled in Blender, rendered in browser.
took ages to dial in the look and feel, models and rendering but my god its awesome.

You can’t have a thesis about Ponzi schemes.
Let’s not call meme coins anything else.

“Sorry I’m late.”
“I’m sorry I never got back to you with that.”
<No response at all>
How much guilt do we feel for having too much on our plate?
I don’t want more. I want less. I don’t need 10 more side projects created while I sleep. I need more time to sleep. I need to see my friends more. I need to be on top of things without constantly stressing about not being on top of things.
Right now people with low executive function are most impacted by information overload. ADHD is a meme. People take medication, buy courses, try to fix something in themselves that was never broken.
They are the canaries in the coal mine. The volume of data we are exposed to is still increasing. Pretty soon, even the highest functioning people will be overwhelmed by the onslaught of on every platform.
“Sorry I couldn’t respond yesterday”— how far hence come from when a message would take weeks to go back and forth.
This is the problem we’re solving with the new Eliza app. We’re working directly with individuals and organizations to deeply understand how to unlock them.
What if curing ADHD was as simple as pulling people out of the dopamine loops they don’t really want to be in?
Eliza manages your digital life so you can live your real one. Free, open source, local first with an easy cloud, runs on mobile, or entirely on your favorite comms platform, iMessage, etc.
We’re looking for first party design partners who have real problems that they’re willing to pay to have solved. We’ll work hands on to help you with your life, business and personal relationships.
Email me at [email protected] and let’s set up a call.

I downloaded @cursor_ai to try out the new Grok 4.5. Within minutes I added tool/weapon stowing so you can take things with you in vehicles without needing to drop them. Worked first time!
What a time to be alive!

There are a LOT of companies out there right now trying to build AI-native game engines where users can turn words into games.
The video below shows exactly what they're trying to achieve.
It turns out "words -> game" is much harder than it looks...
How do you make vehicles and other machines operate correctly in a sandbox where anything can happen?
How do you support tool-based items when everything you grab requires different poses and mechanics?
How do you make sure that everything created works coherently with everything else and doesn't break?
How can multiple people be in one game at once and see the same chaos happening at the same time all in sync? What about physics?
How do we make it run well on every device, even phones?
It turns out generation was never the real problem, coherence was.

Almost every "decentralized" dApp cheats — a hosted RPC with a secret key, a Cloudflare proxy, or "paste your own key." All three quietly put a server back in the path.
The trap: a site on Arweave is permanent and public, so it can't hold a secret RPC key. But listing every .null name needs getProgramAccounts — which public Solana nodes 403. Bake a key (leaks), run a proxy (centralized), or make users bring one (kills adoption). Dead end.
So we split the one key-requiring step out of the browser. An off-browser indexer (where a key is safe) reads the chain and publishes a keyless snapshot to Arweave; the browser reads that snapshot and does keyless live reads for detail. Owners are read live, never baked in.
web0.null now serves its own front door AND its full name directory on the permaweb — galaxy, search, register, marketplace — with no RPC key in the bundle, no proxy, no server, $0/mo. It dogfoods itself: a .null name, pointing at Arweave, serving the .null registry, keyless.
We haven't seen another fully-keyless, proxy-less permaweb frontend reading a live Solana program's entire directory. The web, without the rent — and without the secret keys. 🟢
