Saya ngecek, yang bikin "legal" apa? Ternyata ada Perkapolri No. 5/2010. Jadi:
1) Harus ada kasus (Pasal 3 sama 9).
Ya tapi kalau situ Kapolri, gampang lah, suruh kroco bikin kasus. Emang si kroco bakal nolak? Nolak Kapolri? Meh.
2) Dilaporkan dan dievaluasi tertulis oleh Kabareskrim (Pasal 5).
Ya kan dia Kapolri. Kabareskrim mau nolak Kapolri? Mau dicopot elu?
3) Persetujuan Pengadilan Negeri (Pasal 6)
Bayangkan Anda jadi hakim. Terus nerima surat yang ada tanda tangan Kabareskrim sama Kapolri. Urusan kasus serius.
Ya kali nolak? Dikira bersekongkol sama pelaku entar?
4) Sudah, selesai. PENYADAPAN BISA DILAKUKAN.
Tinggal urusan surat menyurat, eksekusi, operasional. Diawasi sama Kabareskrim.

Bareskrim Polri mengungkapkan fakta baru terkait kasus penyadapan ilegal terhadap Presiden Prabowo Subianto dan sejumlah pejabat negara.
Operasi penyadapan tersebut dipastikan berlangsung langsung dari lingkungan internal Mabes Polri, bukan di markas khusus atau lokasi rahasia.
Kepastian lokasi ini didapatkan penyidik setelah memeriksa 13 orang saksi dari unsur kepolisian dan saksi ahli, serta menguji barang bukti digital yang disita.
Dalam perkembangan kasus ini, Bareskrim Polri telah menetapkan empat orang perwira Polri sebagai tersangka. Tiga tersangka utama—yakni eks Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Irjen Eko Hadi Santoso, dan Irjen Ahrie Sonta Nasution—saat ini telah ditahan. Sementara itu, mantan Kadiv TIK Polri Irjen Slamet Uliandi baru saja ditetapkan sebagai tersangka tambahan.
Guna mengusut tuntas skandal penyadapan ini, pimpinan Polri menyiagakan Tim Khusus di bawah pimpinan Kabareskrim Komjen Asep Safrudin.

Trump famously said he would end the wars. But then he deferred to Israel and started an illegal war against Iran. It cost the GOP the midterms.

The only reason Trump won the 2024 election is because the Biden-Harris administration was very unpopular and he deceived Americans into believing two main things:
1, he would bring down prices, following sky-high inflation; and
2, he would stop waging wars.
Trump blatantly lied about both.
Inflation in the US keeps rising. Gasoline prices have skyrocketed (due to Trump's wars). Food is expensive. Housing costs are out of control. Healthcare is a disaster. But Trump only cares about the stock market and AI data centers.
Meanwhile, Trump launched a war of aggression against Iran, continued sponsoring Israel's genocide in Gaza, bombed Yemen, invaded Venezuela, and blockaded Cuba, while waging nonstop trade war and failing to stop the proxy war in Ukraine.
Let's be clear here: the Democrats' overwhelming victory in the midterm is not because Americans suddenly love the Democratic Party. In fact, DNC leadership has mostly sat on its hands and has done very little to oppose Trump's destructive oligarchic agenda.
Rather, this overwhelming victory represents the people's overwhelming rejection of US wars, Israel, and a government that only cares about Big Tech corporate oligarchs.
