Going to be an amazing year of basketball
Ready to Race 👊
@RacersHoops & @RacersWBB come in at first place in the @MVCsports preseason poll!
#GoRacers🏇
The one thing that could hurt this team is the 5 position, One injury away from being extremely thin and small.
Just up thinking about how loaded the Murray State baseball lineup is going to be this season. Lots of depth and lots of options. Guthrie is going to breakout and Cunningham will be first team all MVC.
Pitching staff has some DUDES too.
Fred King looking to get another year of eligibility. I believe we already have 15 players on the roster. Not sure what’s gonna happen there.
1. I believe most people are overreacting to win against France reserve team. That team was put together last minute. Still a great win and ironic considering that Racers have 4 Frenchmen.
2. People are severely underrating Pavle Nikolic. Will be a top 3 player on the team.
Should’ve hired Nico. But we’ll gladly keep him

I fully expect Jacob McKenzie to be the full time first baseman next season. That’s where primarily played last season. My guess is Kenny Cox is the opening day catcher if Guthrie is hurt.

🇸🇮 6'5 Guard, Mark Padjen has named MVP of the U20 Eurobasket!
The upcoming Murray State freshman finished the tournament with 15.7 PPG, 2.7 RPG, and 5.6 APG. He delivered another huge performance in the final with 14 points, 2 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Padjen led his team to the gold medal in front of his home fans, and now he is a hero of the nation!

I agree with this a lot. We brought in a lot of great hitting. Pitching is still a question mark but we brought in a couple two-way guys and I think there are several guys that can take leaps.
This is quite the pickup. Probably won’t pitch much but a really good hitter
Slovenia wins 88-61 over Belgium. Mark Padjen put on a show in just 22 minutes.

This is awesome. Not sure what teams (if any) in the Valley would have this technology
NEWS: The NCAA Rules Subcommittee has approved the usage of ABS, sources tell @BaseballAmerica. It can be used in any game where the tech is available (includes Trackman). This still requires Baseball Oversight Committee approval but is expected to be implemented in 2027.
Only time I’ll really post about this but if you like some of the stuff I post here, I have started @bsbportal if you feel inclined to follow. I cover a lot of portal players and am covering some draft content right now! Nothing will change on this page!
Indiana State’s Carter Beck just jumped to the #26 overall pick by the Atlanta Braves 😳
Beck was widely mocked to go in the 75-150 pick range
MLB had him ranked as the 193rd prospect in the draft
