#Baltimore police are arresting fewer minors than they were in 2018 and 2019, but prosecutors are charging a greater portion of them — about 25-30% — as adults. Pre-pandemic, that rate was about 12%.

Shortly after I tweeted this, I started hearing murmurings that @MDPublicSafety was downplaying it in a major way and it was not repaired. @MarylandOPD just put out a press release saying the issue was ongoing as of yesterday, described conditions as "beyond unconscionable."
I asked @MDPublicSafety about a social media post saying water has been out at a Baltimore detention center, leaving people unable to shower, wash hands or flush toilets. The department says the issue was identified on Sunday and repaired yesterday.

Baltimore is getting started on mail-in ballot counting now. They hope to count 24,000 today which is a pretty swift pace for them. Staff have been asked to stay until 7 pm

FWIW, undecideds on polls have to go somewhere on Election Day. Polls are snapshots not crystal balls. The margin of error is real.
I have no doubt that Trone—given the amt of campaign spending relative to Alsobrooks—was leading until the waning weeks.
