If you’re going to fight an ideology, you had better understand what you’re fighting.
The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) have put their vision in writing: a new constitution, an abolished Senate, and a presidency and Supreme Court replaced by institutions chosen by and subordinate to Congress.
I am fundamentally opposed to this vision for America. And I believe understanding exactly what DSA proposes is essential to challenging it.
That’s why I went beyond the headlines and followed the records: its candidates, leadership, organizations, political coalitions, organizing strategies, and funding.
How many Americans have actually taken the time to read what DSA says it wants?
Knowledge is the first step toward an informed opposition.
Read my research. Examine the evidence. Draw your own conclusions. And share it.

More than $11 BILLION in election advertising, and the agency tracking the money can’t even accept the latest spending reports.

Nobody knows what it is or where it came from.
Great. Even the ocean is dumping its problems on Florida now. 🙄

WE WORK OUR ENTIRE LIVES. WHO’S LOOKING OUT FOR OUR RETIREMENT?
81%. That’s the percentage of Somali immigrant households in Minnesota receiving some form of government assistance, according to a Center for Immigration Studies report.
I’m Generation X. We’ve spent decades working, paying taxes, and contributing to a retirement system we’re increasingly worried won’t provide enough to live on.
We were raised to believe that hard work meant independence, opportunity, and the security of growing old with dignity.
So why is expecting financial self-sufficiency from people immigrating to America suddenly considered unreasonable?
And to younger generations demanding more government spending: One day, you’ll be the ones approaching retirement. Have you considered who will be paying the bills then?
Immigration should bring opportunity, ambition, hard work, and contribution.
America should be a land of opportunity, not a lifetime guarantee of taxpayer support.
Because after a lifetime of working, Americans deserve more than financial uncertainty.
We worked for our future. It’s time Washington started protecting it.

U.S. stocks mostly rose, led by AI shares. The S&P 500 gained 0.6% and the Nasdaq 1.2%, even as most S&P 500 stocks fell. Broadcom rose after a financing deal gave Anthropic access to its AI chips.
The indexes climbed while most stocks fell. Apparently, a market can be up as long as the right handful of companies are.

On this day in 1962, a U.S. U-2 reconnaissance plane was shot down over Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis, killing pilot Rudolf Anderson Jr. and bringing the United States and Soviet Union dangerously close to war.
That was one day on Earth.
See you tomorrow. Same planet. No clear election winner, but a clear mandate for more meetings. 🌎
This is Château Rouge, in Paris’s 18th arrondissement, a long-standing West and Central African commercial hub. French signs, African crowds, African goods: the result of decades of post-colonial migration and settlement.
This isn’t all of Paris. But parts of Paris are changing quickly, and Château Rouge makes that change visible.
Some Islamist preachers call suicide attacks martyrdom and promise paradise to the people who carry them out. Then they stay behind the microphone while someone else dies.
If they believe the promise, why aren’t they leading the way?
Cuba’s foreign minister called the U.S. ambassador a liar at the U.N.
That’s rich coming from a communist regime that has spent decades lying to its own people, crushing dissent, and blaming America for the disaster its own government created.

The U.S. military has banned Chinese-made BYD vehicles from entering its air base in Japan. Even taxis and delivery vans.
The concern? Their cameras and sensors could expose military secrets.
Imagine ordering lunch and finding out the delivery car is a national security threat. 🙄😂
