The story is WILD.
According to the city council, sometime in late August Mayor Craig Timmons decided he had a “problem” with the department’s work hours.
So, he bought a tracker with his own money and put it on Chief Bunn’s (chief of police) vehicle.
He also pointed a CAMERA at City Hall to watch employees come and go.
The chief resigned.
Every full-time officer resigned.
Most of the reserves resigned.
The city manager resigned.

Right now, all over America, Flock cameras are going up on poles in towns just like Milner.

Eleven people with type 2 diabetes ate the same meal twice, two days apart.
Chicken breast, salad, broccoli with butter, ciabatta bread, orange juice. Same plate, same calories, same metformin dose.
Day one they ate the bread and juice first.
Day two they ate the chicken and vegetables first and held the bread and juice back 15 minutes.
Blood sugar at one hour came in about 37% lower. The two-hour rise came in 73% lower. Insulin dropped with it.
Ben Azadi walked through that Cornell study this week, then said the part the internet leaves out. Seventy-three percent off a two-hour rise in 11 people is a pilot result, not a promise for your body. His team ran 15 people with prediabetes next. Carbs last cut peak glucose more than 40%.
The reason is physical. Protein, fat and fiber reach the stomach first, so it empties slower and the gut releases more GLP-1, the hormone those weekly injection drugs are copying.

I still can’t believe CBSDFW ran this story when they knew it was a lie.
A local news station used a photo of a toddler’s rash, labeled it measles, and put it in a story without the parent’s permission. Mom, Dawn Neufeld, said it wasn’t measles — it was the child’s reaction to the MMR shot — and had to publicly demand they take it down and issue a retraction.
That’s not reporting. That’s using a kid’s vaccine injured face to scare people.

A deadly fungal mold that causes severe brain abscesses is surging in the United States. Doctors don’t know why.
Health experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the University of Washington are raising alarms over a sharp rise in infections caused by Cladophialophora bantiana, a rare black mold that attacks the human central nervous system.
Laboratory surveillance reveals that detected cases quadrupled between 2023 and 2025, spreading across at least 21 U.S. states.
The pathogen primarily invades brain tissue, forming severe, pus-filled abscesses that cause devastating neurological damage. What makes the outbreak particularly troubling to researchers is that unlike most invasive fungal pathogens that target only vulnerable individuals, this fungus is infecting otherwise healthy people with fully functioning immune systems.
Scientists remain baffled by the underlying cause of the surge, as there is currently no centralized federal tracking system specifically dedicated to monitoring the fungus. Researchers suspect spores are inhaled or introduced through minor skin wounds before traveling to the brain.
With case-fatality rates reaching up to 70 percent even with aggressive surgical and antifungal treatments, epidemiologists emphasize the urgent need for heightened clinical awareness and expanded diagnostic testing.
