Her journey spans from investigating anomalies in salvage cities, through major battles and alliances, to confronting larger threats involving ancient entities, power-hungry factions (the Purists), and the vulnerable (especially foundling children).
Book 1 introduces the world, Rayne’s mission, key allies, and the first major "correction" involving the Orb.
Book 2 explores fragile post-conflict peace, shifting threats at Dragonspine Keep, and the enigmatic Warden.
