‼️DEVELOPING: RADAR SHOWS JET FLEW INTO A STORM CORE AT 35,000 FEET
Analysis of Miami NEXRAD radar shows the Learjet 60 (N722BD) entered a thunderstorm core near Wellington at about 12:48 PM ET, just before it crashed in Palm Beach County.
At 35,000 feet, radar echoes around the jet jumped to 34 dBZ, with a 52 dBZ core below it and storm tops near 47,000 feet. Tracking data shows the jet climbed about 450 feet inside the core, then went into a spiraling dive and crashed 76 seconds later.
Minutes earlier, the crew told Miami Center they were in moderate turbulence and “managing the ice” at −53°F, and asked to climb out of the precipitation. Moments later they declared a Mayday, reported an overspeed, and said they were banking 60 degrees.
All 9 people on board did not make it. The NTSB is investigating, and the cause has not been determined.

The bee lives less than 40 days, visits at least 1,000 flowers and produces less than a teaspoon of honey.
For us it is only a teaspoon of honey, but for the bee it is a life. 🐝🍯

❤️ A Crow, an Injured Cat, and an Unexpected Act of Kindness! 🐦🐈
Who would have thought that a crow could show such extraordinary care for a cat?
In this touching scene, a crow appears to fill a small bowl with water, carry it to an injured cat, and remain nearby as the cat drinks.
Crows are among the most intelligent birds on Earth. They can recognize individual faces, remember past interactions, and form complex social relationships.
While we can't know exactly what this crow was thinking, its behavior is a beautiful reminder of how surprising animal interactions can be.
❤️ Do you think animals from different species can form genuine friendships?

How long does propane actually last? Here’s the math.
20 lb cylinder (4.7 gal)
Family cooking: 2 to 3 weeks
Buddy heater on high: 48 hours
2,000 W generator at half load: 8 to 12 hours
100 lb cylinder (23.6 gal)
30,000 BTU wall heater: 3 days nonstop
Same heater at one-third duty: about 9 days
500 gal tank (400 usable)
A small house at 100,000 BTU a day: about 1 year
THE MATH
A 500 gal tank is only filled to 80%, so it holds 400 gallons of propane.
Propane has about 91,500 BTU per gallon.
400 gal × 91,500 BTU = 36.6 million BTU.
At 100,000 BTU a day, 36.6 million ÷ 100,000 = 366 days, so about a year.
1,000 gal tank (800 usable)
Same house: about 2 years
Why propane is the smart fuel for us:
It doesn’t expire. Gasoline goes bad in months. Propane stays good as long as the tank holds.
It doesn’t need the grid. It cooks, heats, runs a generator, and even runs a fridge/freezer when the power is out.
It’s energy we already own. A tank on our property is fuel they can’t turn off.
