I came to the Senate to defend liberty and fight wasteful spending, and I will not back down. Liberty is not a Republican or Democratic Party idea. It is an American one, and it deserves defenders in both parties. Let’s get more of our colleagues to put liberty and the Constitution first.

The reality of socialism’s “free” things? Higher taxes, out-of-control debt, and fewer opportunities for everyone.
With the national debt above $40 trillion and inflation still at 3.7%, we cannot afford to add trillions more to the pile. If anything, we should be making across-the-board cuts and balancing the budget, which is exactly what my Six Penny Plan does.
This is similar to my Bonuses for Cost-Cutters Act, which would let Inspectors General pay bonuses to federal employees who find waste, fraud, mismanagement, or surplus funds. It creates a direct incentive for federal employees to root out abuse, which ultimately saves taxpayer dollars!
