Day 73 of posting something suppressed until Georgia removes state law tying suppressor ownership to the NFA process. 🇺🇸
Here’s the thing, Georgia was one of the 15 states that joined the lawsuit that helped pave the way for this federal NFA victory.
Now many of the states that stood beside Georgia in that fight are already moving forward under the new federal landscape while Georgians are still in limbo.
Give Georgia gun owners clear guidance NOW.
Fix O.C.G.A. §§ 16-11-122 through 16-11-124 so our suppressor laws are no longer tied to federal NFA registration.

Day 72 of posting something suppressed until Georgia removes state law tying suppressor ownership to the NFA process. 🇺🇸
72 days in, and Georgia is still waiting on a clear statewide path forward.
Federal enforcement changed on October 9. Georgia’s O.C.G.A. §§ 16-11-122 through 16-11-124 did not.
So keep asking:
📞 Your State Senator
📞 Your State Representative
📞 Your local District Attorney
When will Georgia address these statutes & what is the path for Georgians right now?
Clarity now. Permanent fix next.

Day 71 of posting something suppressed until Georgia removes state law tying suppressor ownership to the NFA process. 🇺🇸
O.C.G.A. §§ 16-11-122 to 16-11-124 remain the statutes that need to be addressed, while enforcement questions can still land at the local level.
Here’s the assignment:
📞 Contact your State Senator
📞 Contact your State Representative
📞 Find and contact your local District Attorney
Ask where they stand today & when Georgia plans to permanently fix these statutes.
We shouldn’t get different answers depending on which Georgia county we’re standing in.

We learned a few things today!
💥 Never forget to wind the Thompson drums
💥 The Uzi runs better when you don’t try to load your finger along with the mag (never done that before 😂)
💥 EVERYBODY’S smiling at a Subgun Match!
We had an absolute BLAST at the inaugural Iron Ridge at South River Subgun Showdown! 🇺🇸
Five stages, 225 rounds, a fantastic squad & a whole lot of full-auto freedom! Days like today are a reminder of just how awesome the shooting community really is.
The best part though? Getting to spend the day shooting with my dad and brother. There’s something special about sharing a passion that’s been part of our family for generations, especially when it involves a little friendly competition.
Huge thanks to everyone who put in the work to make this match happen at South River Gun Club. I sure hope this is the first of MANY!
Oh, and just in case you’re wondering. Dad had to buy dinner this time 😎

Imagine paying a political consulting firm to record and produce an ad, but nobody bothers to fact check anything you say.
What he’s demonstrating here is already a federal crime. What a joke.
As a Marine and dad, I’m voting Yes on 9 to keep assault weapons off our streets.

In Massachusetts, frames/receivers (treated as firearms) and large capacity magazines cannot be shipped directly to private homes; they require licensed dealer transfer with background checks or are prohibited, and unserialized ghost guns are banned.

Day 70 of posting something suppressed until Georgia removes state law tying suppressor ownership to the NFA process. 🇺🇸
70 days in & this is where my frustration lies:
Georgia’s AG may have offered an interpretation but he also made clear that it doesn’t bind any of Georgia’s 50 District Attorneys. In other words, the question of enforcement can still land back at the local level…
That is not the statewide clarity Georgia residents & businesses need.
O.C.G.A. §§ 16-11-122 to 16-11-124 still need to be addressed & permanently fixed.

Ask them where they stand and how they’re interpreting the law right now. We don’t need 50 different answers. We need a clear path forward for Georgia.

Every full auto Friday we remember America before 1986 when all Americans could purchase new production fully automatic weapons at any local gun store without any significant hassle or exorbitant pricing. We shouldn’t just oppose new gun “laws,” we should also push for the removal of draconian limitations on the freedom of all Americans to exercise their right to self defense in any manner they see fit 🇺🇸

Day 69 of posting something suppressed until Georgia removes state law tying suppressor ownership to the NFA process. 🇺🇸
ATF issued guidance October 9th stating that federal registration and prior approval are no longer being enforced for suppressors and other covered items, but state law still applies.
That leaves O.C.G.A. §§ 16-11-122 through 16-11-124 as a major issue here in Georgia.

THE MISSION ISN'T FINISHED. NEITHER ARE WE.
Some victories come quickly. Others take years. But every victory moves us closer to the ultimate goal.
Until suppressors are legal in ALL 50 STATES and are COMPLETELY REMOVED FROM THE NFA, our mission remains the same.
We will not back down. We will not lose sight of the goal. And we won't let up.
50 STATES. NO NFA. ONE MISSION.
This is a fight worth finishing. And ASA is in it for the long haul.
LET'S FINISH WHAT WE STARTED! 🇺🇸
Day 68 of posting something suppressed until Georgia removes state law tying suppressor ownership to the NFA process. 🇺🇸
Checked again today: Still no new news on an official path forward for Georgia.
ATF has changed its federal enforcement policy, but explicitly says state laws still apply. Meanwhile, O.C.G.A. §§ 16-11-122 through 16-11-124 remain on the books here.

Day 67 of posting something suppressed until Georgia removes state law tying suppressor ownership to the NFA process. 🇺🇸
Georgia has already considered legislation aimed at repealing the state supressor/silencer prohibition, so the path isn’t starting from zero but O.C.G.A. §§ 16-11-122 through 16-11-124 remain the issue & must be addressed here at home.

Day 66 of posting something suppressed until Georgia removes state law tying suppressor ownership to the NFA process. 🇺🇸
Quick update: I’m still not seeing any new suppressor-specific guidance published by Georgia’s AG. Meanwhile, ATF’s own guidance specifically says state law still applies and directs people to state and local authorities for answers.
Here’s the thing! Georgia already had legislation on the table this year. HB 1324 would have repealed the state prohibition on possessing a suppressor/silencer, but it fell short in the House, 87–76.
We need a permanent fix to O.C.G.A. §§ 16-11-122 through 16-11-124 and clarity on how to proceed in the meantime.
