Kane wasn’t Bayern’s best player of the season. That was Olisé, the Bundesliga Player of the Season. 🏆 He wasn’t the best Champions League player either. That was Kvaratskhelia. 🌟 Nor was he England’s best player at the World Cup. That was Bellingham. 🏴 And he wasn’t the World Cup’s best player. Rodri was. Messi, Rodri, Mbappé, Olisé & Bellingham all had stronger claims than Kane. 👀 To make matters worse, he won no major trophies. 🤦‍♂️ ❌ He couldn’t get Bayern through the Champions League semi-final second leg to the Final with clutch goals. ❌ He couldn’t get England through the World Cup semi-final to the Final with clutch goals. Yet Kane won the Ballon d’Or on the back of 73 goals. ⚽️ That’s what the Golden shoe is for, and he’s already won that award. Focus on Cardoso. He lost the league, something unfathomable at Sundowns. He lost in the preliminary stage of Champions league, something unprecedented at Sundowns. Worse off, he had the opportunity of two games to put away the minnows from Angola but failed

Your endorsement for Helen is ok, but your departure from intellectual and scholarly rigour is INEXCUSABLE. You KNOW for a FACT that there will be a coalition government in the City of Joburg & instead of helping residents accept that reality, you adopt a DA position. Intellectual dishonesty should not be promoted, least of all by senior academics of your stature.

7. Zille is the only candidate if we want power, water, services & honesty & competence. Zille is the only candidate if JHB is to survive. Getting the largest vote will also not be enough. We cannot have coalition govt. Zille needs more than 50%. This is the only way JHB returns.

What is preventing General Mkhwanazi from restoring law and order in Durban? Is someone constraining South Africa’s top cop? Similar mob violence is regularly quashed in other provinces, but not in KZN, where it has become a permanent fixture. Why is that?

Has he ever built a factory?
🚨DAWIE ROODT DROPS THE HAMMER: “NOT A CHANCE” I’LL BUILD A FACTORY OR MINE IN SOUTH AFRICA UNDER THESE CLOWNS‼️ Dawie Roodt, Chief Economist and founder of the Efficient Group, one of the most quoted economists in the country, former SARB man and no friend of fantasy economics, has just said out loud what every serious investor already knows in private. He will put money into short-term, liquid stuff like the bond market (he rates it a solid 7 out of 10). You can get in, get a decent return and get out fast but the real economy like factories and mines⁉️ Actual productive investment that creates jobs, builds wealth and keeps the lights on for the next generation⁉️ “There’s no way I’m going to build a factory in South Africa or start a mine in South Africa. Not with this bunch of palookas in charge.”‼️ He rates real fixed investment a miserable 3, maybe 4 out of 10. Pretty much uninvestable. Apart from a bit of tourism, the rest is a no-go‼️ Cyril please Voetsek ‼️💯

It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically. Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country. Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case. Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve. In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota. The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

South Africa’s economic underperformance is not an accident of history - it is largely the result of the choices we continue to make. We talk endlessly about creating an enabling environment for business and investment, both local and international. Yet too often the actions do not match the rhetoric. Red tape, inconsistent policy, and slow decision-making continue to choke investment across almost every sector of the economy. Investors - and our own entrepreneurs - do not wait forever. Capital is mobile. Talent is mobile. Opportunity is mobile. If we are serious about growth, jobs and shared prosperity, our leaders across government, business and civil society must become more self-critical. We cannot keep blaming external factors while avoiding the hard internal work: simplifying regulation, speeding up approvals, creating policy certainty, and treating business as a genuine partner rather than a problem to be managed. The solutions are known. Many countries have done the hard work of cutting bureaucracy and prioritising execution. We can too - but only if we are honest enough to confront where we are falling short and disciplined enough to change. What are we prepared to do differently, starting now? #SouthAfrica #EconomicGrowth #Leadership #Investment #RedTape #Accountability

See why you should stay away from StarLink 📍
JUST IN: 🇺🇸🇺🇦 Elon Musk responds to claims that SpaceX restricted Ukraine's access to its satellite internet: "Starshield systems are owned and controlled by the US government. Any limits on speed or usage are decided by the US military and ultimately POTUS. Starlink is a commercial service owned and controlled by SpaceX. Usage of Starlink is limited to civilian or defensive activities and cannot be used for offensive military action, as doing so would be inappropriate for a commercial company."
